On Sunday 3rd December this iconic London location was transformed into a canine wonderland, brimming with stalls showcasing a treasure trove of doggy delights. Excited barks filled the air as four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes met each other, their owners eagerly browsing for the perfect presents.
From stylish leads and collars by Bew Dogs to premium dog food and treats from Caboodle. Hearts and Hounds showcased their adorable and durable dog toys, while Ralph & Co. presented their comfy and stylish dog beds. For those wanting to keep their pups warm and cosy, Hilary’s Hound offered their bespoke fleece and knitwear, there was something for every taste and preference.
The market also featured a live sketching session by talented pet portrait artist Stephanie Howard, situated at the Fair Shot café. She captured each unique personality and brought each portrait to life, creating the perfect present for dog lovers. Badiani’s ice cream shop was on hand to provide sweet treats for humans and dogs alike.
A real highlight of the event was Santa’s Grotto. Here, our canine visitors had the chance to meet Santa, pose for a photo on Santa’s lap, with the help of dog photographer Amie Barron and receive a special festive gift for being on the nice list. A whole host of pups lined up, their tails wagging with excitement.
It was a day to remember. The joy on the faces of all in attendance as they explored the market, met Santa and indulged in festive fun really got us into the Christmas spirit. We wanted to say a huge thank you to The Yards and Gaynor of Four Legged Foodies for inviting us and for helping us raise awareness of our vital work.
