Wild at Heart Foundation is led by Nikki Tibbles and powered by a full-time small team of dog-lovers, all of whom are passionate, driven and deeply committed to bringing about lasting change for stray dogs in need.
As a small charity, we are also incredibly grateful to have the support of volunteers who are willing to donate their time and skills to help our cause and achieve our goals.

Nikki Tibbles
When Nikki isn’t driving our mission to provide a better life for the world’s stray dog population, she can be found heading up her world-renowned florist business. Her creativity and determination has not only helped Wild at Heart become a market leading brand, it’s also the reason Wild at Heart Foundation is the thriving, meaningful and committed charity we are today.
For the first four years of the charity’s development, Nikki’s business covered all costs, as well as contributing significantly towards projects and campaigns. This gave the Foundation the opportunity to grow, and to invest 100% of donations into our project work. Wild at Heart still contributes 10% of its profits annually towards our running costs, and Nikki personally funds many of our international project trips where grants are unavailable, allowing us to channel all public fundraising straight into the areas of greatest need.
A dog-lover for life, Nikki grew up with stray dogs and has never known a time where she didn’t have multiple dogs of her own!

Olivia Staves
A long-time supporter of Wild at Heart Foundation, Olivia rescued her Romanian dog, Reggie, through the charity back in its early days in 2015. She joined the team as a volunteer in 2017, before progressing to full-time Head of Adoptions Operations in early 2019. Thanks to Olivia, and her team’s genuine and unwavering dedication, many hundreds of dogs have been happily and seamlessly adopted into loving homes here in the UK.
Transitioning over to Projects Manager in 2022, Olivia now works to ensure that the mission of our charity is fulfilled, and the welfare of the global stray dog population is protected.

Our Trustees
We have a team of inspiring trustees behind us, all of whom are committed to striving to relieve the plight of stray dogs all around the world.
We’re also lucky to have the backing of an incredible community of ambassadors and friends of the charity, who lend their support to raising funds and awareness for Wild at Heart Foundation.
James Cane
James was appointed a trustee of Wild at Heart Foundation in June 2024.
He trained as a chartered accountant and has been involved in the finance world for over forty years, serving as finance director and chief executive for a range of public and private businesses.
James has served as a trustee, and as chair of the Finance, audit and risk subcommittee of the Royal Academy of Dance since 2021. He became a member of the committee in 2016 and also serves on its development committee.
James was a trustee of LAMDA for nine years to 2017, chairing its finance committee and serving on its nominations and building committees. During his tenure, LAMDA constructed an award-winning £30 million theatre development. Until 2017, he was an affiliate governor of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama (CDD), an umbrella organisation for eight leading UK dance, circus and drama schools, and sat on its finance committee.
James was also a director of Queen’s Club, a leading UK racquet sports club, until 2019 when he also retired as chairman of its finance committee.
He lives in southwest London with his wife, a wire-haired dachshund called Tommy and a WAHF rescue dog from Greece called Lois. He previously had a WAHF rescue dog from Bosnia called Simon.
Louise Richmond
Louise was appointed a trustee of Wild at Heart Foundation in September 2023.
Louise is an experienced charity fundraiser and marketeer who is passionate about championing the rights of young people and animals. Currently freelancing with two national charities, Louise is a lifelong dog lover and owner, and adopted her pup Sandy from a shelter in Bahrain via the Wild at Heart Foundation in early 2020.
Louise is immensely proud to be a trustee of WAHF and is determined to help change the lives of street dogs across the world.
Marisha Dhawan
Marisha was appointed a trustee of Wild at Heart Foundation in July 2024.
A chartered accountant by profession, Marisha works in the International Development space, with a focus on financial planning, risk management, project leadership and coordination. She is also an aspiring yogi with a deep purpose to create a movement of action, hope, and optimism that frees all animals from suffering.
Her heart became Wild At Heart after her two rescues, Sheru and Helios, arrived from Cyprus in 2018.
Stephanie Camu
Stephanie was appointed a trustee of Wild at Heart Foundation in October 2021.
She is currently also a trustee of the Barbican Centre Trust and the Old Chiswick Protection Society, and was previously a trustee of the arts commissioning organisation Artangel for eight years, holding the position of Chair of the Board from 2017-2019.
Stephanie’s love of animals and distress at the plight of abandoned dogs has led her to rescue many dogs from a village in the mountains of Crete where her own two dogs, Ziggy and Ella were found. She shares the belief of Wild at Heart Foundation founder, Nikki Tibbles, that education is critical to raising awareness, along with changing both attitudes and also behaviours towards stray dogs, to ensure they are treated with the respect and kindness they deserve.
Her day job is managing artists. She is a founding partner of Southern & Partners, an artist management consultancy providing strategic advice to artists and artists estates. For over 20 years she has worked closely with artists, organising and curating solo and group exhibitions in commercial galleries, international institutions, and heritage sites. Before moving into the arts, she worked in senior management positions in the television industry for the news and current affairs networks CNN and CNBC in London.
Andrea Previ
Andrea was appointed a trustee of Wild at Heart Foundation in December 2020.
Andrea is not only one of the charity’s best loved friends, he is also one of our most fervent supporters having advocated for Wild at Heart Foundation when it was still just a dream in Nikki’s mind!
His support has been unwavering, and we’re so grateful for everything he’s done for the charity, be it supporting events and fundraisers, or helping us develop new corporate partnerships.
