Introducing little Wallace who was found abandoned, along with his five siblings by the side of the road near our partner shelter. The puppies were tiny and had very little chance of being discovered at all, let alone knowing how to fend for themselves at such a young age. It truly is a miracle that our partner shelter discovered the litter when they did. Thankfully Wallace is now in safe hands and he is finally ready to fly the nest to his new furever home!

Wallace is a bundle of bountiful energy! He is often found charging around the shelter and playing with his siblings. Wallace loves nothing more than an exciting walk, so we think he would love adopters who are also keen explorers! Whilst Wallace is enthusiastic about many things, sometimes he can be nervous of being picked up and handled. The shelter are working on this and it’s improving with lots of positive encouragement and plenty of treats for good measure!

Generally, Wallace loves playing with the other puppies and the older dogs at the shelter but he has started to protect food from the other dogs. Adopters will need to be prepared to work on this as part of Wallace’s training and it is best that he is the only dog in his new home. With plenty of reassurance and lots of love on offer, we think Wallace is going to make a fantastic companion to some very lucky adopters!

Wallace has not yet been tested with children or cats, we will be watching how his puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.

Please note, Wallace won’t be ready to travel to the UK until towards the end of January 2021.  As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Wallace as soon as possible!
