Thimble and his siblings were found in an abandoned house with their mother, not long after she had given birth. Thankfully the owner of our partner shelter in Romania took the family in to the warmth and helped nurture the very young pups. The siblings have been cared for at a foster home and are now eager to find their perfect forever homes in the UK.

Thimble is a small pup with a big spring in his step and he gleefully bounds into adventures with a big helping of puppy energy! He is a happy lad around his favourite people, often jumping for joy when he sees someone he loves! It is hard to resist his gleeful welcomes, but Thimble may need to learn a few puppy manners in this area. We are sure with plenty of his favourite snacks on offer, he will be a brilliant little learner. Thimble was born with a slightly shorter tail than some of his siblings but this doesn’t effect him at all – in fact it makes him all the more unique!

Thimble is the cuddliest of his siblings and is most content when he has someone by his side giving him plenty of fuss. He also loves playing and never wants the fun to end! He will suit an active family but please do bear in mind that Thimble can become a little upset if he is left alone, and could suffer from separation anxiety. Ideally he will need adopters who are frequently at home and will be dedicated to separation training to help him overcome this. We could also consider homes with a friendly and confident resident dog to help guide Thimble in times of need.

Thimble has been living in a foster home with his siblings in a very rural area of Romania. He will need lots of patience and positive encouragement in his new home, and to give him the best chance at settling into his new environment, we will only be considering homes in at least semi-rural areas. We have no doubt that once he starts to feel comfortable, he will light up his new home with his joyous nature and big heart!

Thimble has not been tested with cats so we will be watching how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis. He could be suited to a family with older, dog savvy children who are sensible around young dogs.

Please note, Thimble won’t be able to travel until at least mid March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Thimble as soon as possible!
