Sully is one of our neutering campaign success stories – he was brought to our partner shelter by a local who’s dog had produced two puppies, Sully and Mike. Their mother is an owned pet in the area who had never been spayed and consequently would have multiple litters each year. As part of the sterilisation work that our partner shelter carries out, they agreed to take on the pups to rehome them and also sterilise the mother, meaning that she no longer has to suffer an ongoing cycle of breeding. Thanks to campaigns like this, the puppies can look forward to an exciting new life in the UK, whilst their Mum remains safe in her home – and most importantly, no more pups destined to end up on the streets!

Sully is a soft, sweet-natured soul who loves cuddles and attention from everyone he meets. He is a little quieter than his sibling Mike, and can sometimes shy away if he gets spooked, so he is going to need some help building up his confidence. Luckily, he is food motivated so it shouldn’t be too challenging.

It’s early days for Sully in terms of walking and whilst he has mixed well with other dogs, he can be a little nervy around bigger, rough dogs, so he hasn’t joined the pack for walks just yet. He just needs a little more time building up his confidence around other dogs and once he’s feeling a little braver, we are sure he’d love the adventure. Mostly you’ll find Sully playing with his brother or any other puppy he can find who’s up for some fun.

He can be a little cheeky chappie and thinks most things will do for a toy so keep a hold of those socks and be sure he has plenty of his own toys to stop him stealing yours! We expect he is going to be a very big pup once fully grown so he’s going to need some space to stretch those legs, and are therefore looking for at least a semi-rural home for Sully.

Sully is a playful, affectionate young pup and we’re looking forward to finding him the loving home he deserves.

Please note, Sully won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least late October.  As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Sully as soon as possible!
