Rosie in three words | The best mummy
Please note that Rosie will not be ready for adoption / ready to travel until September so any adoption applications will not be prioritised just yet.
Rosie was found sheltered in the forest with her 6 week old puppy, Harley.
Despite likely being abandoned by previous owners into the forest, Rosie absolutely loves people and enjoys a cuddle at every opportunity she gets. She has been a superb mother to Harley and is extremely attached to him – in fact, they’d love to be rehomed together because they share such a special bond!
Rosie loves to play with Harley but she is also a calm, relaxed and gentle dog. She is happy to take herself off and have a snooze but also equally happy to be around and interact with the other dogs. Rosie isn’t too keen on bouncy, energetic, large dogs.
One of Rosie’s favourite pass-times is having the workers of the shelter give her a good brush and fuss! As well as the obvious likes being plentiful food and cuddles!
Before before rescued and arriving at our partner shelter, Rosie’s ears and tail were maimed and removed. She also tested positive for heart worm but has completed treatment and will be retested for this before leaving for the UK. Rosie will not be able to travel until September 2020, and this will only be possible should her bloods still prove good.
