Peanut was found abandoned in a town as a puppy. He was being regularly fed by locals but then it seemed he had gone missing. After thankfully re-surfacing in another part of town, Peanut was found with a sore foot and brought into our partner shelter. It is suspected that his foot was caught by a car which damaged some of the skin, thankfully it has now fully healed and he walks normally. Back to his full health, Peanut is ready to leap into his new life in the UK.

Peanut is an incredibly smart chap, with a lot of love and joy to bring to everyone around him. He is proving to be top of the class when it comes to learning new tricks and he has already picked up some new commands at the shelter – a very smart cookie indeed! Peanut also enjoys playing with his toys, frolicking in the garden and walking with the volunteers. He was previously in a foster home, so is still getting used to being around lots of dogs in the shelter. Although he plays brilliantly with them all, he likes to take his time getting to know them and will need a bit of reassurance.

He gets along well with both children and cats so could be rehomed to a family with either. An extra play mate will certainly keep him happy! Peanut would love a family that can offer him some fun walks, extra training sessions and of course a scratch or two behind those very fluffy ears!

Please note, Peanut won’t be ready to travel until towards the end of the year. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Peanut as soon as possible!
