Meet the lovely Mouse, who was living on the streets and being fed by locals before she was brought to the safety of our partner shelter in Greece. It is now her time to find a loving forever home here in the UK.

Mouse is a beautiful girl who has a wonderful way with humans. She simply loves all the affection she can get and as soon as the volunteers come to visit her, she welcomes them with a big wagging tail. Mouse can be a little unsure with new people at first, so she will likely need time to build a bond with her adopters but with positive reassurance she soon warms up and rolls over for a big tummy rub. Mouse would love a home where her adopters are around most of the time as she absolutely loves being around people (once she knows them).

Mouse is looking for a home in at least a semi-rural area, where she won’t have to meet too many strangers when out for walkies.

As well as making friends with humans, Mouse also happily interacts with other dogs. She could live with a resident friendly dog, but would also be happy to have all the fuss to herself! Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for her friendship with cats and, as such, we will not be considering homes with any small animals.

Mouse walks well on her lead at the shelter but will likely need some extra training when she comes home. She responds well to positive encouragement and also goes crazy for treats, which will be an excellent tool when keeping up the good work at home and when introducing her to new surroundings.

To our knowledge, Mouse has not had any socialisation with children but can consider homes with older children that are sensible around dogs on a case by case basis.

Mouse will make a wonderful loyal companion to a very lucky family who are just as full of love as she is.

Please note, Mouse won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least May. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Mouse as soon as possible!
