By adopting a dog through Wild at Heart Foundation, you’ll be playing a vital part in ending the struggle of stray dogs all over the world. Sincerely, we want to thank you for choosing to rescue a dog who needs your help more than most. If you’re ready to find your perfect companion, start your search here or fill in an adoption form! Very loyal boy
Dobri was found in the local town by our partner shelter’s volunteers, where he was wondering around and approaching people to say hello! It is likely he was given up by a previous owner, as he looked healthy and wasn’t frightened when the volunteers rescued him and took him to the shelter. Now the time has finally come for Dobri to embark on his journey to the UK and we can’t wait to find this loyal boy the forever home that he has been dreaming of.
Dobri is a very happy and friendly chap! He adores people and doesn’t show any nerves when he is meeting someone new, in fact the more friends the better for Dobri! He is bound to adore having a family of his own, as he is incredibly loyal and will relish having lots of attention all to himself. Dobri will make a wonderful companion to a very lucky family and we are sure that he will light up his new home with his loving nature and charming ways.
Whilst Dobri makes friends very easily, he can sometimes be a little grumpy around other male dogs, specifically those who have not been neutered. Prospective adopters will need to be aware of this when out on walks and as such, we think he would be happiest as the only dog in his new home. However, we think this could be worked on with experienced and calm owners, as he does enjoy going out on the pack walks with the other dogs at the shelter and is soon to release his very playful side!
After a nice long walk, there is nowhere Dobri would rather be than snoozing in front of the fire at the shelter! We are sure that once he gets used to his new home, he will have no trouble scoping out the best cosy spots for an afternoon nap. Dobri is a brilliant boy and would love nothing more than a family by his side who are ready to spoil him rotten!
To our knowledge, Dobri has not had any socialisation with children or cats. With this in mind, we will be considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Dobri won’t be travelling until at least the end of March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Dobri as soon as possible!

Special and sweet
Meet the very sweet Tony, who was found by a local lady whilst he was wandering the streets with an injured leg. Tony was taken in by his rescuer and his injured leg was unavoidably removed, but this has not hindered him in any way and he has adapted incredibly well to life on 3 legs! Tony is now ready to bound into a new life and we can’t wait to find this special boy his forever home.
Tony is a shining example of a dog who has not let his past define him and he happily takes to life with a big smile on his face. Having three legs does not cause Tony any issues and he contently enjoys walking, running and playing just as much as his four legged friends! Tony is friendly when meeting new people and has an eagerness to please, which will be an excellent tool when bonding with a family who will spoil him rotten with cuddles and fuss!
We are hoping to find Tony a home in a quiet area where he can relax and enjoy an afternoon snooze in plenty of peace. It is likely he may take a little time to adjust to a new environment, but with adopters who are as patient and as kind as him, we are sure it won’t be long until he feels confident exploring his new home. Tony is a smart boy and will benefit from some one to one training sessions, there is no doubt that with some tasty treats on offer he will be quick to learn some more doggy manners.
Tony gets along well with other dogs that he has met. He is currently living in the yard of his rescuer with other dogs and, as such, he could be suited to a home with a resident friendly dog or happy to have all the attention to himself. It is clear to see that Tony has a very sweet nature and is keen to make friends with almost everyone he meets but, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his relationship with cats! Due to this, homes with cats will not be considered.
To our knowledge Tony has not had any socialisation with children. We will be watching how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Tony is a special soul who is sure to make a wonderful companion to a family who are just as full of life as he is and we can’t wait to see how he flourishes in his new home.
Please note, Tony can’t travel until at least April. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Tony as soon as possible!

A real sweetheart
Poppy and her brother, Michael, were brought to our partner shelter by a previous owner who no longer wanted them. It is difficult to know why she was ever given up, but now that she is at our partner shelter Poppy is finally one step closer to finding her forever home in the UK.
Poppy is a sweet natured girl who adores the company of others. She is fairly confident when meeting someone new at her shelter and enjoys soaking up lots of cuddles from the shelter volunteers. Poppy has been at the shelter for some time, and would love nothing more than to find a quiet home where she can relax and bond with adopters who will shower her with all the attention and love she deserves.
Poppy loves her walks and would definitely enjoy going out more regularly than she currently is able to at the shelter. She can be a little nervous when exploring new places at first, but once she starts to feel comfortable she walks happily on her lead and begins to feel relaxed. She may take a little time to adapt to her new home so prospective adopters will need to take it at her pace, and help positively remind Poppy how well she is doing.
Poppy will suit a home in a quiet, non-busy area where she can peacefully get used to her new life at her own pace. She gets along fine with other dogs and is OK with cats she’s met at her shelter, so we could consider homes with both. Poppy is bound to make a wonderful companion to a very lucky family. She has waited long enough for her time and we can’t wait to see how she shines!
Poppy has not been tested with children, but homes with older children who are calm around dogs could be considered.
Please note, Poppy won’t be travelling until at least April. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Poppy as soon as possible!

Everyone's best friend!
Michael and his sister, Poppy, were brought to our partner shelter by a previous owner who no longer wanted them. Since being at the shelter Michael has blossomed and he is finally ready to travel to the UK to settle down in his forever home!
Michael is naturally a friendly & social chap, he loves being around people and is sure to adore having a family of his own that he can cuddle up to. He is also proving to be quite confident when meeting strangers, he will quite happily befriend anyone who will offer him plenty of fuss! We’d expect he’ll regress a little when he first arrives but could come around to your love & offer of tasty treats. As he is such a loving soul, it is likely Michael could suffer from separation anxiety, so his adopters will potentially need to spend time working with him to overcome this and he’d be best placed in a home where the adopters are around often.
Michael is already walking brilliantly on lead and loves his long walks. We hope to find him a home nearby to plenty of exciting areas for exploring and sniffing! Michael also loves to please his humans and is already very obedient, we think he will enjoy bonding with his adopters during some one to one training. Given Michael’s social nature, he also gets along well with other dogs so we can consider homes with resident dogs. Michael has not been tested with cats so we cannot consider homes with cats.
Michael has not been tested with children but could suit a family with older children who are calm and sensible around dogs.
Michael has so much to offer a family who are as loving as he is and we are sure that once he is settled, he will relish his new home and all the comforts that come with it!
Please note, Michael will not be able to travel until at least April. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Michael as soon as possible!

Take me home!
Meet the wonderful Friday! Sadly, Friday was an unwanted dog who was dropped off at our partner shelter some years ago. Since then, she has been patiently awaiting her chance to find a special forever home and now her time has finally come.
Friday is a big girl with an even bigger heart! She has a fantastic way with humans and absolutely adores being around her favourite people. We are sure she would relish some new home comforts and snuggle in close for her favourite thing: a big tummy rub! Friday thrives when she is around the people that she loves – she is very human orientated and for this reason she would prefer adopters who are mostly at home. After all, she’s spent many years alone already and finally deserves to be doted upon. With this in mind, it is possible that she could suffer some separation anxiety and therefore, prospective adopters will need to feel committed to helping her overcome this.
Friday is a relaxed dog but also enjoys getting out and exploring too. She doesn’t have extensive walks, nor regular ones but when she does get to go out she walks well on her lead and we’re sure, once settled, she’d love a few more quiet walks in her new home.
Friday gets along well with dogs and ignores cats but she doesn’t have regular socialisation with them. We can consider homes with both, but she certainly won’t complain if she has all the love to herself either.
Friday has not been tested with children but we could consider homes with older children who are calm and sensible around dogs.
Now that her time has finally come, there is no doubt that Friday will be a very special member of her new family and we can’t wait to find her the loving home that she so deserves.
Please note, Friday will not be able to travel until at least April. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Friday as soon as possible!

Loves to snuggle
Georgia was found wandering the streets of a local town and had made her home in the local bus stop for shelter. She had also befriended a local man who was feeding her regularly before he brought her to our partner shelter for help. Georgia has since been in safe hands and is now ready to find a forever home where she can soak up all of the love that she so craves.
Georgia is an incredibly affectionate girl who bonds well with people. She absolutely loves being talked to during her cuddles and very quickly rolls over for a belly rub or two! Georgia is proving to be a smart cookie, she responds well to lots of yummy treats and is already walking well on her lead. She will continue to benefit from one on one training with her adopters and we will be looking for experienced adopters who can give her the dedicated amount of time and attention that she needs.
Georgia will need a special adult only home, where she is the only dog in the household and without cats. She is currently untrusting of other dogs and reacts to them by barking/snarling. It will be really important that Georgia’s adopters have experience in working with dogs who are reactive & adopters who live in a non-busy area to minimise her exposure to other dogs.
We will be looking to find Georgia a peaceful home in a quiet, rural area, somewhere she can enjoy her walks without having to worry about meeting lots of strange dogs. She will relish bonding with her adopters and her eager to please nature should be a handy tool when teaching her to focus on you instead of other dogs when exploring the big wide world. After walks, Georgia will surely be very content to snooze next you and delight in a tummy rub.
Georgia is absolutely full of love and we have no doubt that she will charm her adopters with her affectionate nature – she just needs a little bit of a helping hand to support her anxieties and we’re sure she’ll blossom in the right home with experienced and understanding adopters.
Please note, Georgia won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least April. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Georgia as soon as possible!

Waiting to Blossom
Kiwi had been living in a small remote village near the shelter but was picked up by our partner shelter when there was news she may be in danger. She was neutered by the shelter and has been living there along with her sister Daisie since she was roughly 1 years old.
Kiwi is as happy as she can be with shelter life but sadly she’s unlikely to progress much unless she leaves that life behind. Shelter life is busy and noisy & Kiwi simply wants a peaceful home where she can be spoiled. Kiwi would benefit from a home where someone is around often and she can revel in 1-2-1 attention & training, to help build her confidence. Her sister Daisie will be travelling on our next transport run (around April time) and we’d love to see Kiwi go to her own special home at the same time.
Kiwi gets on well with other dogs, sharing her pen with her sister, so we’re looking for her to be rehomed with a confident dog to help guide and bring out her own confidence. Kiwi is a submissive and quiet dog, so another kind & gentle dog would benefit her.
Kiwi is pleased to see the people she knows in the shelter and is confident and happy when out walking with them. She loves going out for regular walks with a lady at the shelter but can be more unsure of men (see video) so any prospective adopter will need to work on her confidence around men and new situations. She can be hesitant of new surroundings, so it may take some time for her to adapt to walking in her new environment. She’ll need some calm encouragement and we are sure she’ll be desperate to explore her new home. Kiwi loves her treats and will accept treats from men once she knows them, which will be a perfect tool when building her confidence and teaching her to come out of her shell.
To our knowledge, Kiwi hasn’t had any socialisation with children. Due to her timid nature, we will not be considering homes with young children but homes with older, calm & dog savvy children could be considered on a case by case basis.
She is a beautiful girl who simply needs some time and patience to thrive in a quiet home with a routine in place. Kiwi would like a rural home, where her prospective adopters can nurture her, allowing her to slowly bloom into the confident, happy girl she can be.
Please note, Kiwi is ready to travel now. It may take us longer to reply to applications due to unprecedented demand – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Kiwi as soon as possible!

Ready to shine
Meet handsome Robbie, who has been at our partner shelter since he was a pup. Sadly, his mother was poisoned so Robbie along with his 5 siblings have been cared for at the shelter ever since. His three sisters have already made their way to the UK and now it’s Robbie’s turn to find happiness in his forever home.
Robbie is a shy boy with a heart of gold. He injured his face on some wire about a month ago and was moved to a different pen and since then, being in a more exposed area, he has started coming out of his shell and has made huge progress, becoming more confident with each month that goes by. He enjoys his walks with those he knows and loves his treats, something that will come in handy when teaching him to love his new home.
Robbie responds well to kindness and a gentle approach, he loves a cuddle with those he knows and is looking for a home that will spend time building up his confidence allowing him to flourish into a happy confident boy at his own pace. It is likely he will be nervous when he first arrives, as he isn’t used to life outside of the shelter, but we are sure it won’t take long for him to settle and realise how good life can be in a loving home! He has gotten on well with other dogs in the shelter, so we would consider homes with a confident resident dog, who might help guide Robbie and bring out his own confidence in the UK.
Robbie is looking for a quiet, rural home where he is given the time he needs to bloom. We are very excited to find Robbie his perfect home where he can finally relax and have his happy ever after.
Please note, Robbie can’t travel to the UK until November/December. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Robbie as soon as possible!

Big brown eyes
The lovely Kitty was brought to our partner shelter along with her litter of four puppies. Luckily, the family were found in time so that the shelter could help Kitty take care of her newborns. Now that her puppies are old enough, they have each been getting used to life without their super mum and will soon be embarking on their journey to the UK to settle in their forever homes. We would love to find Kitty her very own happy ending, where she can can relinquish her mothering duties, put up her paws and relax in a very loving home.
Kitty is a very friendly girl who adores plenty of affection and company from the shelter volunteers. She happily accepted help from the volunteers when they were handling her pups to make sure they got all the treatment they needed. Kitty has been a brilliant mother and we think it is time for her to get all that she deserves in return. She would love a home where she can enjoy plenty of long walks and a cosy warm bed to snooze in at the end of a long day. Food and and lots of tasty treats are the way to Kitty’s heart so we also think she could respond very well to training or learning some new tricks.
Kitty can currently be unsure of other dogs, this could be because she feels protective after recently giving birth, or to do with her hormone levels after being recently spayed. Kitty may improve around other dogs once her hormones have settled although this cannot be guaranteed. Prospective adopters will need to be aware of this and support Kitty with training and managing situations when she is uncomfortable around other dogs. It would be best if Kitty were the only dog her new home, which would preferably be in a quiet and at least semi-rural area.
Kitty’s body is still adjusting after having given birth recently. Her milk is drying up and her belly is still sagging at the moment, so she isn’t looking picture perfect just yet! But of course this is only temporary until she gets into fitter shape again. She is likely to loose some pounds once she loses the baby fat and once her tummy shrinks down again.
Kitty has not been tested with cats or children. It is likely she will not suit a home with young children but we will be assessing homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Kitty is ready for adoption now but it may take us longer to review applications as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Kitty as soon as possible!

Loves to learn
Diego was rescued from Bosnia and adopted in 2017 but, sadly, his owners have recently arrived at the decision that Diego would be able to thrive in a different home.
Diego has a super personality and is very playful and always up for fun; he enjoys jumping through fields of long grass like a gazelle and is also a keen swimmer, enjoying surfing the waves at the beach! He loves a ball, being chased and also playing hide and seek.
Diego is extremely intelligent and picks up commands and tricks very quickly. He is an absolute dream to walk; he enjoys chasing through the woods after squirrels but also has fantastic recall and is eager to please. Diego would be best suited to a home where the owner could teach him lots of commands, keep him busy and give him ‘jobs’ to do because this is when he feels most comfortable.
Diego unfortunately has a few areas where he struggles. Around strangers, Diego will react if they try to touch him or get too close. He also struggles within enclosed spaces and dislikes sudden movements.
He also shows resource guarding behaviour and will not allow anyone to remove or play with a toy/chew. He can also become possessive of space and is known to react to other dogs that get too close.
Diego adores the company of other dogs and regularly goes on group walks with his dog walker where he never tires of playing chase. He can sometimes be wary of big, fluffy dogs but with some encouragement he soon befriends them. In regard to Diego’s resource guarding, he feels less stressed when around other dogs that are dominant because he does not feel the need to protect/guard. However, once alone again, his resource guarding behaviour becomes apparent.
Diego is very calm and relaxed whilst at home and loves to cuddle up on the sofa with his favourite people.
As Diego doesn’t cope well with busy environments or areas, he would be best suited to a home in a rural environment where his owner could work on these anxieties slowly.
Diego originally came from Bosnia but is now living in the UK – visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note, the UK adoption fee will apply.

Shy sweet soul
Meet beautiful Olive, who arrived in the UK from Bahrain last month. She was originally found wandering the streets of Bahrain & was picked up by our partner shelter who cared for her until she came to the UK. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, her adopter has come to the difficult decision that Olive needs a different home in order to thrive, & as such we are now hoping to find Olive the perfect forever home.
Olive is a sweet, affectionate dog, who bonded with her owner instantly. She loves cuddles and scratches & being close to her owner, but is also happy to spend time in her crate, & sleeps the whole night through. She’s really taken to stuffed toys and tug ropes & loves to play with these with her human.
Olive has already learnt to recall to her name and loves to spend time off lead in a safe enclosed space doing zoomies! She knows basic commands as well as being housetrained. This has all be relatively easy to teach due to her love of food; she’ll pretty much do anything for a chicken snack or some peanut butter. It is important to note that a change in environment can cause a dog to regress so adopters should expect to start from scratch with any training.
Since being in a home Olive has met a few dogs but she is generally quite nervous & uninterested in them & does not wish to play. When meeting dogs out on walks she will shy away & chooses not to interact. She has been reactive to a neighbours dog when she feels her space has been invaded, & for this reason we are looking for a home without another dog.
Olive is very nervous of new people, especially men & does not wished to be touched by them. However, if they have some tasty treats to hand she will take this, but remains cautious. She is going to need lots of positive reinforcement training around people, with owners who won’t force her into situations. If she is given time & space we believe she will come around and allow attention from other people as long as it’s on her terms.
Olive also struggles with loud noises or unknown environments. She will bark at unknown sounds & become nervous when out walking if she is unsure of the situation. With lots of positive encouragement she will come around but this does take time. As such Olive needs an adult only, rural home with a nice garden in which she feels secure. She does tend to bark at cows and horses so adopters will need to manage this behaviour & be wary when walking in countryside near livestock.
Olive is looking for someone who can understand her needs & give her time to build up her confidence. We are considering foster homes as well as adoption for Olive so do get in touch either way!
Olive originally came from Bahrain but is now living in South West England– visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note, the UK adoption fee will apply.

Needs some guidance!
Meet handsome Indy, who was adopted from Lesvos earlier this year. After a lot of deliberation, his owners arrived at the difficult decision that Indy needs a different home in order to thrive. He has been in foster for the last 2 months, coming on leaps and bounds and is now ready to find his forever home after a difficult start.
Indy is a sweet boy with bundles of energy. He loves to run and walk in the great outdoors, benefiting from lots of exercise, and would make a great running companion if you’re up for it! He is eager to please and is very food motivated but does get easily distracted by the goings on of the world. He therefore needs a lot of structure and guidance, to keep him engaged and entertained.
Indy is desperate to play, especially with other dogs, initiating this with a big bouncy play bow. He can become hyper and over the top in play, and this combined with his size has meant he has been told off by the other dogs in his foster home. Over time he has learnt to read these signals given by the other dogs and will back off when told. Whilst he loves the company of dogs we think it would be best for Indy to be the only dog in the home due to this over the top behaviour, and instead, spend lots of time socialising at day care or with a dog walker, where he can be supervised in his interactions but still gain the play he so desperately craves (unless of course you have a dog that matches Indy’s exceptional energy and desire to play)!
Prior to his UK home, Indy had never been inside a house. He was therefore very nervous in his first home, afraid of doorways and halls, and took comfort in his crate, refusing to venture out. With time and lots of positive reinforcement, Indy’s confidence did grow both inside and outside the home, but he is still unsure of unknown situations and people. He gets spooked easily and reacts to unfamiliar noises by barking and pacing, and is nervous of people outside the home. His natural instinct is to run away, but if he is unable to do this he will react to tell people he is afraid of. With proper, slow, calm introductions Indy soon settles and will make friends, but prefers if you let him come and sniff you first rather than someone actively showing him attention. Because of this, we are looking for a quiet, rural, adult only home where Indy will be given the opportunity to thrive.
Another very obvious trigger for Indy was the TV, which made him very unsettled in his first home and would lead to him mouthing his adopters. However, since being in a foster home, Indy has realised that actually watching TV can be great fun, and even has his favourite film ‘Pets’, which he watches frequently! It’s very important for adopters to understand that Indy will need a long settling in period whilst he adjusts to his new home with lots of structure and reward based training, allowing him to trust he is safe in his new surroundings.
As mentioned, Indy has been crate trained and takes comfort in this space. He is happy to be left alone and will chill out in his crate in the evenings after a non stop day of play and fun. It’s important to stress that he needs a very active lifestyle in order to burn off his energy, otherwise it’s likely he will become unsettled and destructive.
Indy is very loyal once he knows you and when out walking with him he constantly checks in to make sure all is well. Providing he’s had his daily dose of exercise he will happily settle at your feet, or follow you around making sure you’re never without company. He loves a cuddle and belly rub, often pawing you for more.
We are looking for a very special home for Indy, with owners who have lots of patience & experience. He is going to need a very structured life with guidance and daily positive training sessions in order to be happy in his new home. We can’t wait to finally find Indy his forever home that he’s been waiting so patiently for.
Indy originally came from Lesvos but is now living in the UK – visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note, the UK adoption fee will apply.

Loves a nap!
Sally was found abandoned at the roadside when she was only three months old. She was rescued and taken in by our partner shelter, where she has since been patiently awaiting a new beginning and a family to call her own.
Sally is a gentle girl with a very laid back nature. She enjoys going out on the shelters pack walks, but there is usually one place she can’t wait to be and that is her her warm, cosy bed! She is often found lounging around and we are sure that she will have no trouble picking out the cosiest spot for an afternoon nap in her new home! Sally enjoys life’s simple pleasures and is most happy when she is snuggled up in bed with her favourite chew toys.
Sally is content when interacting with the other dogs at the shelter and does love a snuggle with her pen mates, but we are sure she wouldn’t mind being the only dog in her new home – just so long as there are extra cuddles on offer from her humans! Prospective adopters may want to consider her size, as she could be on track to grow into a giant dog and therefore, may take up a bit more sofa space when snuggling in for a cuddle!
There is one thing Sally can never get enough of, and that is her food! She absolutely loves meal times and as long as there are treats nearby, Sally is not far behind! Luckily, this makes training a lot of fun and we have no doubt that she will be teachers pet during training sessions in her new home – just be sure to hide those treats out of reach in-between lessons, as this smart girl will be sure to look for more where they came from!
Sally has not been tested with children or cats, we will be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Sally is a gorgeous gentle giant and we can’t wait to find her a home that is bursting with as much love as she is!
Please note, Sally will be not be available to travel until at least the end of March. Due to unprecedented demand, it may take us longer to reply to applications – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Sally as soon as possible!

Very special soul
Clara was found in an enclosed area of land by the owner of our partner shelter in Lesvos. When she visited Clara and brought her food and water, Clara was initially frightened and reacted out of fear. Clara had a change of heart when she was taken in to the care of our partner and realised she was finally in safe company, immediately giving he rescuer a thank you kiss on the hand. Since being rescued, Clara has grown in confidence and we think she will make a wonderful companion to very lucky adopters in the UK.
Clara is an incredibly intelligent girl, who learns very quickly and has blossomed out of her shell more each day. It is clear that she is very grateful to her rescuer, showing her thanks in her very funny and charming ways! She has a wonderful playful side and loves nothing more than plenty of attention! She loves to be talked to during cuddles and sometimes even mouths peoples hands in an affectionate way, so that they give her more tummy rubs! Clara forms very special bonds with people that she knows, but it may take her a little time to warm up to new people. Her new adopters will need to be patient and calm when introducing themselves and Clara to other people, but as long as you take it at her pace she soon relaxes and is keen to soak up lots of fuss.
With her a big loyal heart, Clara is a protective and nurturing soul and this can sometimes manifest as resource guarding. She can sometimes feel defensive over her foster carer, making sure that most of the cuddles are reserved for her! She is becoming to understand that the other dogs need attention too, but prospective adopters will need to feel confident working with Clara in these situations and help positively remind her that she doesn’t have to worry about sharing.
Clara loves riding in the car to new places! She would definitely enjoy jumping in the car and exploring lots of exciting walks with her humans. She has a very playful and energetic side which could manifest into destructive behaviour if she hasn’t let off all her steam! We also think Clara would prefer adopters who are mostly orientated at home, to give her all of the love that she so craves. Please bear in mind that Clara could suffer from separation anxiety if left too long and any adopters will need to be dedicated to helping her overcome this.
Clara does get along with other dogs, but takes a little time to warm up to them on initial meetings. She never shows any aggression, but she needs gentle encouragement to feel comfortable. Once she has started to feel at ease, her playful side is sure to emerge and she will happily make some new four legged friends – although unfortunately the same can’t be said for her friendship with cats! With this in mind, we won’t be considering homes with any resident cats and we also think she is better suited to a home where she is the only dog.
We will not be considering homes with young children or toddlers but families with older and dog savvy children may be considered on a case by case basis.
Clara is a very special soul with an abundance of love to give. We have no doubt that with a little bit of patience and a lot of her favourite cheesy snacks on offer, Clara will soon settle with adopters who have a heart just as big as hers!
Clara came into shelter care with a few scars on her muzzle and legs. We do not know why or how she got them, but they do not cause her any further issues or discomfort.
Please note, that due to on-going travel restrictions and transport logistics, we currently do not have a transport date in place for dogs travelling from Lesvos. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Clara as soon as possible!

Timid but Loving
Siena and her brother Sydney were brought to the shelter together, as part of an unwanted litter. Sadly, this is a common result in our partner countries due to the lack of sterilisation available.
With her uncertain start to life, Siena will be slow to learn about trust. She can be timid and unsure to begin with, so it will be really important for her new adopter to be patient and willing to work with her anxieties. Once she feels comfortable, Siena has proven to be a very loving and playful girl on the inside. Spending time together, playing and working on some training will be really important to help Siena grow. She is happy around children but preferably those a little older or dog savvy, to help Siena understand that she is safe.
We will be looking for a quieter home in a more rural area, as this will be best for nurturing her more gentle side. Siena could live with a resident dog, as it may help her to come out of her shell but please bear in mind her size – a bit of extra space would be appreciated! We can also consider rehoming her with her brother Sydney as they share a special bond.
Siena has not been cat tested.
We are hoping we can find a dedicated and loving owner to work with Siena and help her realise that she is finally, very much wanted.
Please note, Siena won’t be ready to travel to the UK for a few months yet as there is a backlog of dogs needing to travel from Spain. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Siena as soon as possible!

A gentle giant
Sydney was brought to the shelter as part of an unwanted litter – a common consequence due to the lack of sterilisation available for many dogs in our partner countries. However, it means we are on hand to help Sydney find the family he deserves.
A gentle soul, Sydney likes to take his time getting to know new situations. It will require some patience to work through Sydney’s nerves, so we will be looking for some experience and someone willing to give him the time to understand he is allowed to be loved. He may be slower to trust but once you have him on side, he will unleash his passion for all of your affection! Sydney is good with children but preferably those a little older with some dog experience, who can help him on his way to overcoming his fears.
Sydney arrived at the shelter with his sister Siena and we can consider rehoming them together but please bear in mind they are larger dogs, so some extra room in the house would be a good idea! If you already have a resident dog, this could be an option to help show Sydney the ropes as well! Sydney loves his play time but would also benefit from some regular training sessions, two excellent ways to spend time working together to build the bond. We will be looking for homes in a more rural setting to assist with any of his anxieties and he hasn’t been tested with cats.
With some more to learn and lots of love to share, we hope Sydney continues to flourish in his own special way alongside his new dedicated family.
Please note, Sydney won’t be ready to travel to the UK for a few months yet as there is a backlog of dogs needing to travel from Spain. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Sydney as soon as possible!

The sweetest soul
Gemma was found in a remote area of Lesvos having recently given birth to her 7 puppies. To keep them safe, she had dug underneath a rock and it was here that the family were discovered by a soldier, who notified our partner shelter to come to their rescue. The family have since been in foster care, but now Gemma is ready to relinquish her mothering duties and find a forever home where she is able to relax.
Gemma was understandably very nervous when the volunteers came to rescue her and given that she had only just given birth, she was also incredibly skinny and very exhausted. She was initially protective over her babies and she did need sedation to be brought to safety. Once in the foster home and given time to recover from the birth, Gemma learned to trust the humans that helped save her family. With a gentle approach, Gemma is learning more about love every day and when given the time she needs, naturally Gemma is a very sweet and kind girl. Gemma has been an incredible mum to her pups, but now it is her time to be cared for and feel the love that she is so capable of sharing in return.
Gemma has a selfless heart and does not ask for anything. Not realising that she is just as deserving of love and attention as her puppies, she often sits back and lets them steal all of the affection! It is likely that Gemma has never known what it means to be part of a family so Gemma’s adopters will need to give her lots of time and patience once she is in her new home. Initially a new environment could be overwhelming for her and she will likely need to gradually build her confidence to new situations, adopters will need to offer lots of gentle guidance to help her blossom. Once she realises how wonderful a loving home can be, Gemma is bound to release her very loyal side and will flourish with her favourite humans by her side.
To give Gemma the best start possible, we will only be considering homes in rural areas. She can be afraid of loud noises and she is most deserving of a home where she can enjoy her walks in plenty of peace and quiet. Gemma is also very food orientated and this will come in handy when helping her adjust to new environments. We are sure that given a calm approach and patience to go at her own pace, Gemma will enjoy exploring her new walking spots. Gemma is calm and kind when she is around other dogs, so she could also suit a home with a resident confident dog who can help guide the way.
Due to her timid nature, we will not be considering homes with young children but homes with older, calm & dog savvy children could be considered on a case by case basis. Gemma has also been tested with cats, so we can consider homes with dog savvy resident cats on a case by case basis.
We are sure that as soon as Gemma is settled and given a safe home to call her own, she will finally relax and charm her adopters with how special she truly is.
Please note, that due to on-going travel restrictions and transport logistics, we currently do not have a transport date in place for dogs travelling from Lesvos. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Gemma as soon as possible!

Quiet and content
Jade and his siblings were found with their mum, Gemma in a remote area of Lesvos. Gemma had dug underneath a rock to keep her pups safe and it was here that they were discovered by a soldier, who notified our partner shelter to come to their rescue. The family have since been in foster care, where they have been learning, playing and growing more each day! Finally, Jade and his family are ready to fly the nest and find their forever homes in the UK.
Jade is a very sweet natured pup and despite being the largest of the litter, he is incredibly gentle and never takes advantage of his size. He is quite happy to let his siblings get up to all the mischief, whilst he has a break from the fun with his favourite chew toys. Jade is a very loving boy and although he is content exploring on his own, we know he will adore having some one to one time with a family who will offer him plenty of fuss.
Although Jade is relaxed by nature, he does also have a curious side and once he is settled, we are sure he will enjoy some exciting walks where there are lots of engaging smells to discover! Once he is back home, he will have no problem finding a cosy spot to chill out and snooze the afternoon away. Jade will benefit from a few puppy training sessions once in his new home but given that he is happy to please, this is bound to be a brilliant bonding opportunity. Jade also gets along well with other dogs so we could consider homes with a friendly resident dog.
Jade has had some interaction with children and could be suited to a family home with children that are calm and sensible around young dogs. Jade has also been tested with cats, so we can consider homes with dog savvy resident cats on a case by case basis.
Please note, that due to on-going travel restrictions and transport logistics, we currently do not have a transport date in place for dogs travelling from Lesvos. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Jade as soon as possible!

Adorable little monster!
Emerald and her siblings were found with their mum, Gemma in a remote area of Lesvos. Gemma had dug underneath a rock to keep her pups safe and it was here that they were discovered by a soldier, who notified our partner shelter to come to their rescue. The family have since been in foster care, where they have been learning, playing and growing more each day! Finally, Emerald and her family are ready to fly the nest and find their forever homes in the UK.
Emerald is the definition of small but mighty! She absolutely loves to play and despite being a young pup, she definitely knows how to rule the roost! Emerald had to be separated from her siblings pen because she was becoming dominant and very bossy with them! There is no doubt that Emerald is a huge bundle of fun and she will love a family as active as her, but she will also need adopters who are committed to regular training sessions and confident setting clear boundaries when she is in her new home.
Emerald is mostly found zooming around or collecting her beloved toys, which she sometimes tries to steal from her siblings and keeps them all to herself! To be sure this doesn’t progress into resource guarding behaviour, we will be looking to place Emerald in a home as the only dog, but she will still benefit from socialising when she is out on her walks. She would also love her new home to be close to plenty of exciting adventures so that she has an outlet for all of her excitable energy! As much as Emerald is sure to keep you busy, she is just as likely to snuggle in close for a relaxing snooze at the end of the day.
There is no doubt that Emerald will steal the hearts of her adopters and she is bound to charm them with her clever ways. She will be keen to take part in training sessions where there are her favourite treats involved, but she can sometimes be a little nippy when there is food on offer and she will need to learn some more patience. With plenty of structure and guidance she will definitely benefit from a clear routine. As she has a little more to learn about manners and sharing, we will only be considering homes with older and dog savvy children.
Emerald has also been tested with cats, so we can consider homes with dog savvy resident cats on a case by case basis.
Please note, that due to on-going travel restrictions and transport logistics, we currently do not have a transport date in place for dogs travelling from Lesvos. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Emerald as soon as possible!

Time to explore!
Onyx and his siblings were found with their mum, Gemma in a remote area of Lesvos. Gemma had dug underneath a rock to keep her pups safe and it was here that they were discovered by a soldier, who notified our partner shelter to come to their rescue. The family have since been in foster care, where they have been learning, playing and growing more each day! Finally, Onyx and his family are ready to fly the nest and find their forever homes in the UK.
Onyx is an easy going pup who has an independent side. He will often take himself away from his siblings to find a quiet spot to relax or to go off on his own adventures! Although, he still has plenty of time for a big cuddle and fuss from his favourite humans! Onyx will benefit from an active home so that he can enjoy all of his expeditions with an energetic family who are eager keep up with him! Onyx was born without a tail but this does not cause him any issues, he is still a happy boy who just looks a little more unique!
Onyx is also very playful and gets along well with other dogs that he has met. He has had socialisation with children and it is likely that he will love an extra playmate, so families with children who are sensible around dogs can be considered. Onyx is a smart boy and is showing excellent promise when picking up his puppy manners. Some extra lessons in his new home will be a perfect way to bond with all the family and help him get used to his new environment. The best way to round off Onyx’s busy day will be with a big cuddle and his favourite chew toy!
Onyx has also been tested with cats, so we can consider homes with dog savvy resident cats on a case by case basis.

The family have since been in foster care, where they have been learning, playing and growing more each day! Finally, Jett and his family are ready to fly the nest and find their forever homes in the UK.
Jett is a happy go lucky pup who is all about games and fun! Whilst he does enjoy a cuddle, he would much prefer to zoom around with his siblings and make them jump when playing hide and seek! He is an active boy so will need adopters who can offer him a few exciting walks and dedicated training sessions each day. Jett was born with a shorter tail than some of his siblings, but it does not cause him any issues as he is still as happy as can be!
Jett is a funny character and often makes people laugh with his cheeky ways. Another of his favourite games is jumping higher than his siblings in search of a few tasty treats – these will be a handy tool when teaching him some boundaries in his new home! Jett has had socialisation with other dogs and is confident around them. He could be adopted to a family with children as long as they are calm and sensible around a young pup.
Jett has also been tested with cats, so we can consider homes with dog savvy resident cats on a case by case basis.

A shining star
The gorgeous Sweep had a very cruel start to her life. Before she was rescued, her owner had chained her up when she was only 40 days old, leaving her neglected and uncared for. Having known nothing but rejection and fear, she was understandably trying to protect herself when being rescued by the volunteers of our partner shelter. Now that Sweep is in a safe environment, her courage has outshone her past and she is more than deserving of a loving family to call her own.
Despite being incredibly nervous and not quite ready to trust humans upon her arrival at the shelter, Sweep bravely overcame this within a matter of days, showing immense gratitude and love for her rescuers. Every day Sweep has blossomed a little more and she is always eager to please the shelter volunteers – proving that despite her unfair past, she is still willing to trust and make friends with new people. There is no doubt that her infectious joy has lit up the shelter and we are sure she will bring the same to her lucky new adopters.
Sweep is a loyal girl and now that she understands what cuddles are, there is no going back for this affectionate soul! Having never known what love was, to being spoiled for affection at the shelter, at first Sweep was showing signs of separation anxiety. She has since been working on this and her fear of being left alone has greatly improved, but her adopters will need to be aware that the change of environment could initially make Sweep regress, and dedication to help her overcome this may need to be a priority. Once she starts to feel secure and begins to settle into her new routine, we are sure that Sweep will adore bonding with her new family.
We have no doubt that Sweep will bring a bountiful burst of energy to her new home, she loves her walks and is also incredibly intelligent. She would love to go on plenty of fun adventures with her adopters and is bound to be star student during her training sessions – maybe even picking up a few fancy party tricks too! Sweep would be happy playing with a doggy sibling in her new home or would be just as content relishing all of her adopters love and attention to herself!
Sweep has not been tested with cats or children, we will be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Sweep is a shining example of the amazing work that our partner shelters do and what can happen when neglected dogs are given the time and patience they need to grow. By not giving up, Sweep has managed to overcome her past and finally deserves a very loving forever home of her own.
Please note, Sweep will not be able to travel until at least the end of March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Sweep as soon as possible!

Needs some nurturing
Button and his siblings were found in an abandoned house with their mother, not long after she had given birth. Thankfully the owner of our partner shelter in Romania took the family in to the warmth and helped nurture the very young pups. The siblings have been cared for at a foster home and are now eager to find their perfect forever homes in the UK.
Button is a sweet soul and is just finding his place in the big world. He is the most nervous out of his siblings and can be quite wary around new people. He tends to take a littler longer than his siblings to feel comfortable, but once you have him on side he begins to blossom and settles in for a big reassuring cuddle. Button will need experienced owners who will be confident when helping him to feel at ease in his new home and will be committed to giving him all the patience he requires. Button and his siblings were all born with different size tails. Button’s tail is slightly shorter but this doesn’t affect him at all, in fact it’s very cute and unique!
Button will settle best in a quiet, rural home as he can find loud noises very unsettling. We will be looking for homes in rural areas, where Button can relax at his own pace and doesn’t have to worry about any triggering or unsettling urban sounds. Button has had socialisation with children, but given his nature we will only be considering families with older, dog savvy children that are sensible around young dogs.
Button could also be suited to a home with a calm, friendly, older dog who can help guide the way and bring out his confidence. However, he will need slow and calm introductions to any resident & other dogs, as he can sometimes be a little wary if they are much bigger than him. Once Button has got used to his surroundings, we are sure he will release his fun, playful side! Lots of toys and treats are the way to his heart and he will really benefit from bonding with his adopters over some puppy training sessions. We have no doubt that Button will relish being spoiled and loved by a family who are dedicated to helping him shine!
Button has not been tested with cats so we will be watching how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.

Bundle of energy
Introducing Betty, who was found abandoned in a cardboard box when she was just 6 weeks old, along with her 5 siblings. Luckily our amazing partner shelter took them in and have been caring for them ever since. Betty will soon be able to travel to the UK and we can’t wait to find her a wonderful forever home.
Betty is a cheeky pup, who’s got a big character. She had to be separated from her siblings early on as she was becoming very bossy and naughty around food. She was placed with some older dogs and since then her behaviour has really calmed down and she is now a happy, fun pup. Betty loves to play with other dogs in the shelter but due to this initial boisterous behaviour we would be looking to place her as the only dog in the home, but where she can still gets lots of socialisation with dogs outside of the home.
Betty has got tonnes of energy and loves bounding around, as well as getting stuck into some important puppy training. She’s been taught basic commands and will begin her lead training shortly. She’s a very intelligent girl and would love an active family who can give her lots of exercise as well one that will be prepared to do lots of puppy training with her once she arrives. For this reason we will only be considering at least semi-rural homes, so Betty has space to burn of her energy.
Due to Betty’s more boisterous personality we will only be considering homes with older, dog savvy children. She has not been tested with cats, so we will be watching how her personality develops and assessing applications on a case by case basis.
Please note, Betty won’t be travelling until at least mid-March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Betty as soon as possible!

Learning to blossom
Jasmine is one sixth of a gorgeous litter of girls, who are now proudly known as the “flower pups,” after being named over on our Instagram account. The sisters were born near an apartment block and were looked after by their street mum, before being rescued by our partner shelter at just 6 weeks old. Since then, they have been anticipating the time when they would be ready to fly the nest and each find their happily ever after.
Jasmine is a gentle girl and like her siblings, can be a little timid when she is in new situations. With plenty of calm reassurance she starts to feels more comfortable, and of course with the help of lots of tasty treats! Jasmine is quite happy taking life at her own pace and is most often found cosied up in her beloved bed! We would like to find Jasmine a home in a nice quiet area, where she can enjoy those afternoon naps in plenty of peace.
Jasmine loves playing with all of the other dogs at the shelter and enjoys joining in on the pack walks. She will have lots of learning to do in her new home, so she could really benefit from a home with a resident, confident dog to buddy up with and bring out her playful side!
Jasmine is currently working on some basic puppy manners at the shelter, but this will need to be continued in her new home. She was a little unsure of her lead at first, but luckily her love of food is an excellent tool and should make those all important training sessions a fun bonding task! Jasmine is a bright little spark, and we can’t wait to how she continues to shine in her new home!
Please note, Jasmine will not be available to travel until around March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Jasmine as soon as possible!

Bundle of love!
Posy is one sixth of a gorgeous litter of girls, who are now proudly known as the “flower pups,” after being named over on our Instagram account. The sisters were born near an apartment block and were looked after by their street mum, before being rescued by our partner shelter at just 6 weeks old. Since then, they have been anticipating the time when they would be ready to fly the nest and each find their happily ever after.
Posy is a sweet and gentle girl with a very kind nature. She is a little timid when meeting new people but she loves her food, so as long as you have plenty of treats in hand, you are bound to be her new best friend! Once she has gobbled up those yummy snacks and starts to feel comfortable, Posy loves nothing more than a big fuss and cuddle.
Despite her initial nerves in new environments, Posy is confident around other dogs and loves going out on the daily pack walks at the shelter. She could benefit from another dog in her new home to help show her the ropes and we are sure she would love an extra play mate to help her burn off that puppy energy! With her love of food, those all important puppy training sessions should be a fun bonding task and we have no doubt she will be excellent at picking up a few new commands.
To give Posy the best chance at settling into a very new environment, we will only be considering homes in at least semi rural areas. With plenty of positive encouragement along the way, we think Posy is going to thrive more each day and we can’t wait to see how she grows!
Posy has not yet been tested with cats or children so we will be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
When Posy was taken into the care of the shelter she tested positive with Giardia, but has since been treated and is now cleared of the infection.
Please note, Posy will not be available to travel until around March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Posy as soon as possible!

Cute and cuddly!
Daisy is one sixth of a gorgeous litter of girls, who are now proudly known as the “flower pups,” after being named over on our Instagram account. The sisters were born near an apartment block and were looked after by their street mum, before being rescued by our partner shelter at just 6 weeks old. Since then, they have been anticipating the time when they would be ready to fly the nest and each find their happily ever after.
Daisy is a special little soul and has bravely taken each day at the shelter in her stride. She is initially a little nervous when meeting new people, so slow introductions will be key to settling Daisy into her new home. As soon as she feels safe and as long as there are lots of treats and cuddles on offer, Daisy soon blossoms into her charming and happy self.
She loves to join in on the shelter pack walks and like most energetic pups, adores playing with all of the other dogs at the shelter. As such, we will definitely be considering homes with a resident dog as we are sure she would benefit with a doggy sibling by her side! After a long day of tumbling around and discovering lots of new exciting smells, Daisy would love nothing more than a special place to cuddle up with her humans and recharge for a new day ahead!
Daisy has not been exposed to many busy environments, so to give her the best chance at settling into her new home, we will only be considering homes in at least semi rural areas. With a lot of love, treats and encouragement we are sure Daisy is going to make a wonderful companion to a very lucky family!
Daisy has not yet been tested with cats or children so we will be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.

Quiet calm cuddly
Poppy is one sixth of a gorgeous litter of girls, who are now proudly known as the “flower pups,” after being named over on our Instagram account. The sisters were near an apartment block and were looked after by their street mum, before being rescued by our partner shelter at just 6 weeks old. Since then, they have been anticipating the time when they would be ready to fly the nest and each find their happily ever after.
Poppy is a sweet natured girl and like most puppies, is spending every day learning about the big wide world! She can sometimes be a little nervous when she is meeting new people, but with lots of treats and positive encouragement she is soon to warm up, especially where there is a big cosy cuddle on offer!
Poppy loves to spend her days playing and also enjoys the pack walks with the other dogs at the shelter. She easily makes friends with other dogs, so we could consider homes with a resident friendly dog to help teach Poppy about her new home. Two things Poppy cannot get enough of is treats and cuddles! These will be plenty of help when teaching Poppy lots of new tricks and bonding during some puppy training sessions.
As she continues to build her confidence, we would be keen to place Poppy in at least a semi rural home, where she can feel as safe as can be. Poppy is a real sweetheart and with committed adopters by her side, we have no doubt that she will continue to blossom more and more each day.
Poppy has not yet been tested with cats or children so we will be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Poppy will not be available to travel until around March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Poppy as soon as possible!

Learning to shine!
Clemmie is one sixth of a gorgeous litter of girls, who are now proudly known as the “flower pups,” after being named over on our Instagram account. The sisters were born near an apartment block and were looked after by their street mum, before being rescued by our partner shelter at just 6 weeks old. Since then, they have been anticipating the time when they would be ready to fly the nest and each find their happily ever after.
Clemmie is currently in a foster home, where she is a proving to be a lovely little pup with a very big heart. She can be a little shy when she meets new people and it may take her a little longer to come out of her shell, but she is very responsive to a tasty treat and lots of positive encouragement. Clemmie would love adopters who are patient and committed to spending time working with her, as she continues to learn about the world around her. Once Clemmie gets to know you, she is full of love and always eager for a cuddle on the sofa with her humans.
Clemmie is very playful and loves tumbling around with her siblings, but can be reactive when meeting other dogs that she doesn’t know. She can be nervous in these situations often leading to a bark if she feels uncomfortable, but it is never aggressive. She will need adopters who are experienced working with nervous dogs and willing to continue the socialisation training that her foster home have begun, she could also benefit from a home with a resident confident dog to help show her the way.
Clemmie is a special girl and once in the right home, we think she will continue to thrive more each day. She would love to spend time with her humans adventuring on exciting walks and playing with her beloved toys! We will be considering homes in a quiet non-urban area, where she can relax and explore her new home at her own pace. She would also be happy to share her new home with a calm and friendly resident cat.
Clemmie has has not been tested with children but given her shy nature, we will only be considering families with older, dog savvy children.
When Clemmie was taken into the care of the shelter, she tested positive with Giardia but has since been treated and is now cleared of the infection.
Please note, Clemmie will not be available to travel until around March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Clemmie as soon as possible!

Shy but curious
Alisha is one of five dogs we’ve rescued from South Korea, who were saved from meat farms earlier this year. Alisha is now with a wonderful foster family in the UK but please note that the South Korean adoption fee of £950 will apply.
Alisha had only ever lived on the meat farm prior to being rescued. As such, moving to her foster home and living with both humans and other dogs, has been quite an adjustment for her. She’s still unsure of people and does not actively seek out affection, so will need prolonged, positive-reinforcement based training and plenty of time to allow her to settle in and begin to trust her surroundings.
As such, she’s looking for an adopter who is calm, patient and has faith that Alisha can become the carefree, happy dog she deserves to be.
Alisha is currently living with another dog and is generally submissive with other dogs, allowing them to share her toys and food. It’s taken her a couple of months to begin playing, but she now enjoys the company and even cuddles with her new siblings.
We’ll be considering every application on a case-by-case basis, but it’s likely Alisha would benefit from having another dog around for companionship.
Being a sensitive soul, Alisha really likes having a safe space that is all her own, where she can retreat for some quiet time and feel secure.
As such, she’s looking for a quiet, rural home with few comings and goings, to begin with at least, so that she can really get to know her new surroundings and feel secure enough to explore.
Alisha is just 1 of several dogs we’ve rescued from the South Korean dog meat trade. You can learn more about this project through our South Korea project page and via socials.

Curious keen clever
Libby, originally known as Liberty, is from Romania and came to the UK earlier this year and is now living in a foster home. Her original owners made the difficult decision that Libby would be best suited to a new home, where she can continue to grow in a new environment.
Over the past two months in her foster home, Libby has continuously impressed her foster carer with her intelligence and curiosity! She is an explorer at heart and likes to keep her clever brain busy! Once Libby gets to know you, she has a lot of life and loyalty to give to people that she feels comfortable with. We are looking for experienced adopters who can offer her routine and patient encouragement to continue her learning.
Libby is very much still a big puppy, with lots of the energy to match! This combined with her natural independence means she will thrive when given structure. She often likes to be close and “help” with whatever you are doing, so adopters who can keep Libby busy with her own set of jobs and regular training sessions will be important for keeping her brain stimulated. Libby loves playing with puzzle toys and figuring out how she can gain a big tasty reward! As she is still a youngster, Libby is also still chewing and sometimes mouths during playing. This is something that is decreasing with her training and will need to be continued with new adopters; with lots of treats on hand and positive reminders that she is doing well, Libby is a very motivated girl.
When Libby meets new people, she can be unsure and nervous, particularly around men. When someone is approaching unexpectedly, she can also be vocal and back away. In these circumstances, Libby will need very slow introductions and space to approach in her own time. Once she has got to know you and time is spent building up her trust, Libby’s soft side is released and she proudly presents her belly for all of the tummy rubs she can get! We will be looking to place Libby in at least a semi-rural adult home, somewhere that is quieter and able to let Libby relax in her new surroundings.
Libby would thrive in a home with a resident dog. She adores meeting other dogs out on her walks and comes in to her own when she is playing, wrestling and chasing lots of new friends. It would be ideal for Libby to build up a bond with a confident, older dog who can teach her that strangers are not so scary after all.
When Libby is out on her walks she is brilliant on lead and walks calmly next to busy roads. Libby will thrive with walks in engaging areas and hopefully, as she is a very keen swimmer – somewhere with rivers! Libby loves to splash about in water whenever she can find it and isn’t afraid of getting her fur wet! She is often allowed off lead when playing with other dogs and in enclosed spaces but her re-call will still need to be included in her training sessions. Extra work on keeping Libby’s attention around squirrels & other small furries will be important as she can be distracted and does like to chase! For this reason, Libby would be best placed in a home without cats.
Libby’s favourite thing about living in her foster home is the large garden, which she regularly asks to be let out into! She enjoys sniffing and exploring but also a big snooze in the afternoon sun. As much as Libby likes to be by your side, she is also content chilling in her own space and has got used to being left for short periods of time. She can be vocal if she hears lots of noise outside but with some reassurance and a cuddle, she is learning that she is safe. Libby would like to be close by for bedtime, she contently sleeps the night away without any problems in her own bed – which is currently in her foster carers bedroom . She will often ask for a big snuggle first thing in the morning, her favourite way to start the day!
With a family who will dedicate their time to working with and understanding such a clever girl, we know they will have the pleasure of welcoming a big ball of bountiful fun and love into their lives.
Libby originally came from Romania but is now living in the UK – visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note, the UK adoption fee will apply.

The lazy one!
Bobbin and his siblings were found in an abandoned house with their mother, not long after she had given birth. Thankfully the owner of our partner shelter in Romania took the family in to the warmth and helped nurture the very young pups. The siblings have been cared for at a foster home and are now eager to find their perfect forever homes in the UK.
Bobbin is a relaxed pup, who is the most independent of the litter. He is happy to sit back and watch his siblings tumble around whilst he reserves all of his energy for a big snooze! Bobbin loves to snuggle up and fit in as many afternoon naps as he can but do not be fooled, he is a puppy and still has a lot of energy! We are sure he will keep you on your toes, wanting lots of game playing time too! Bobbin was born with a shorter tail than some of his siblings, but this only makes him all the more unique and does not effect him in any way.
Bobbin is currently in a foster home in a very rural part of Romania, so he is very used to having lots of peace and quiet. As such, we will only be considering homes in at least semi-rural areas for Bobbin. Prospective adopters will also need to be calm and patient when introducing Bobbin to all of the sights and sounds in his new home. With lots of positive encouragement and Bobbin’s healthy appetite for tasty treats, we are sure he will grow in confidence a little more each day.
Bobbin gets along fine with other dogs, but can be a little unsure & barks if they are a lot bigger than him so gentle introductions will be very important. He could be suited to a home with a resident friendly dog that can help show him the ropes. With a little bit of time, patience and a few treats for good measure, we are sure Bobbin will settle into his new home and scope out the best spots for a snuggle with his favourite humans.
Bobbin has not been tested with cats so we will be watching how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis. Bobbin could be suited to a family with older, dog savvy children, as long as they are sensible around young dogs.
Please note, Bobbin won’t be able to travel until at least mid March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Bobbin as soon as possible!

Jumps for joy!
Thimble and his siblings were found in an abandoned house with their mother, not long after she had given birth. Thankfully the owner of our partner shelter in Romania took the family in to the warmth and helped nurture the very young pups. The siblings have been cared for at a foster home and are now eager to find their perfect forever homes in the UK.
Thimble is a small pup with a big spring in his step and he gleefully bounds into adventures with a big helping of puppy energy! He is a happy lad around his favourite people, often jumping for joy when he sees someone he loves! It is hard to resist his gleeful welcomes, but Thimble may need to learn a few puppy manners in this area. We are sure with plenty of his favourite snacks on offer, he will be a brilliant little learner. Thimble was born with a slightly shorter tail than some of his siblings but this doesn’t effect him at all – in fact it makes him all the more unique!
Thimble is the cuddliest of his siblings and is most content when he has someone by his side giving him plenty of fuss. He also loves playing and never wants the fun to end! He will suit an active family but please do bear in mind that Thimble can become a little upset if he is left alone, and could suffer from separation anxiety. Ideally he will need adopters who are frequently at home and will be dedicated to separation training to help him overcome this. We could also consider homes with a friendly and confident resident dog to help guide Thimble in times of need.
Thimble has been living in a foster home with his siblings in a very rural area of Romania. He will need lots of patience and positive encouragement in his new home, and to give him the best chance at settling into his new environment, we will only be considering homes in at least semi-rural areas. We have no doubt that once he starts to feel comfortable, he will light up his new home with his joyous nature and big heart!
Thimble has not been tested with cats so we will be watching how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis. He could be suited to a family with older, dog savvy children who are sensible around young dogs.

A little princess!
Calico and her brothers were found in an abandoned house with their mother, not long after she had given birth. Thankfully the owner of our partner shelter in Romania took the family in to the warmth and helped nurture the very young pups. The siblings have been cared for at a foster home and are now eager to find their perfect forever homes in the UK.
Calico is still very young and is learning about the big wide world around her every day, although she has no problem keeping up with her four brothers and is proving to be the most energetic of the siblings! Calico has a confident side, but this will still need to be nurtured by her adopters in her new home, as she gets used to a completely different environment.
Calico is a little princess at heart and has no problem playing up to the title! After plenty of play time and exploring, her favourite place to be is snuggled up on a warm blanket, where she will almost instantly curl up and snooze to her hearts content. Calico would love to enjoy her afternoon naps in as much peace and quiet as possible. Her foster home in Romania is very rural & quiet and so she has not been exposed to busy environments/urban areas before. In order to help her adapt, we will only be considering homes in at least semi-rural areas. We have no doubt that Calico will relish being spoiled rotten by her humans and enjoy all of the little comforts that her new home has to offer!
Calico certainly has an eye (and a hungry tummy) for food! She absolutely loves meal times and is currently proving to be a keen learner for plenty of tasty treats! This will be an excellent tool during her training sessions and when helping her feel confident in her new home.
She will also need slow and positive introductions when meeting new dogs, as she can be a little vocal with those that are much bigger than her! With this in mind, adopters will need to be prepared for training her to be less reactive towards strange dogs and an experienced owner would be preferred. Calico could be the only dog in the home, but similarly she could adapt to a home with a calm & friendly resident dog that can help lead the way and teach her that other dogs aren’t so scary. However, owners would need to be dedicated to the bonding process between resident dog and Calico, which could initially take some time.
Calico has not yet been tested with cats so we will be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis. She has had some socialisation with children, but she is best suited to a family with calm, older, dog savvy children who are sensitive to her needs.
Please note, Calico won’t be able to travel until at least mid March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Calico as soon as possible!

More cuddles please!
Introducing the wonderful Carmen. Carmen was born to a dog who lived on a farmers land and is now in a foster home awaiting her chance to find her very own happily ever after!
Carmen is a sweet girl with a big personality! She is always seeking a bit of extra attention from her humans and where there are cuddles to be had, Carmen will often be first in line or most likely skipping the queue! She loves her foster siblings and is often the centre of the daily fun, but she can be a little dominant and doesn’t mind letting them know when they are in her way, so she may need to learn a few more manners in this area! With this in mind, we think Carmen would prefer to be the only dog in her new home, just to make sure she can soak up all the attention to herself.
Carmen is full of beans and bounds into new adventures with confidence. She may need some time to adjust to her new home but her love of food is sure to be a handy tool when helping her to feel settled. We think she would adore a family who have as much energy as she does! She happily jumps in the car and loves discovering somewhere new to let off all her steam. But don’t be fooled, as she may have just enough energy left to play with her beloved toys before snoozing the day away!
Carmen is bound to make a wonderful companion to a very lucky family. She has had socialisation with children, so familes with calm, sensible children could be considered – we are sure she wouldn’t mind a few extra playmates to join in on the fun!
A home with cats could also be considered, as long as they are dog savvy and willing to be tolerant of a playful pup.
Please note, that due to on-going travel restrictions and transport logistics, we currently do not have a transport date in place for dogs travelling from Lesvos. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Carmen as soon as possible!

A rising star
Steven was found in the middle of nowhere, sadly found with a very tight rope around his neck and with no food or water. He was eventually found by a passer-by who notified our partner shelter. Thankfully, they were able to come to the rescue and offer Steven a second chance. Steven is currently resident in a foster home and we are now looking for a special forever home that will continue to nurture Steven and his ever growing confidence.
With his big open heart, it is clear to see that Steven is slowly redefining his very cruel beginning. Steven was very frightened to begin with but with each day that passes, he is emerging out of his shell and showing off his very playful, energetic personality! Steven loves his toys and is often found chasing around a ball! With lots of puppy energy to burn off, Steven loves zooming around with his foster mates and is very fond of his four legged friends – apart from cats, as these are one furry friend Steven is not so sure of! We would love to place Steven in a home with a resident, confident dog, as he will really benefit from a friend to show him the way, we are sure he would appreciate the extra playmate!
Steven was not quite sure if he could trust humans again but since interacting with the other dogs at the shelter, he has taken their lead and is beginning to understand he is very much welcome to plenty of love and cuddles. Considering we don’t know much about Steven’s life before he was found, there is naturally a few situations which can make Steven nervous. He is unsure of loud noises and raised voices as well as people holding sticks. It will be really important for Steven to be in a quieter home without young children and with adopters who feel confident working through such issues and positively reminding Steven how far he has come.
We think Steven is best suited to a rural home, where he can enjoy the quiet bliss and continue the excellent work he has begun! Steven is worthy of so much more than his unfair start and with adopters who are willing to give him all the time he needs to continue to grow and learn, we know he will have plenty of love to offer in return!
Please note, Steven won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least the start of February. As a result, we will not be reviewing applications until the New Year, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Steven as soon as possible!

A quick learner
Meet gorgeous Maybelle who arrived in the UK from Greece recently. Maybelle was brought along to our partner shelter at around 1 week old with her mother and siblings Kenny, Emmylou and Loretta. Unfortunately her adopter has come to the difficult decision that Maybelle needs a different home in order to thrive, & as such we are now hoping to find Maybelle just that! She is currently in foster care around West Kent/East Sussex area.
Maybelle enjoys nothing more than some 1-2-1 attention and a good game of tug! She is incredibly playful and will chase around playing and throwing her toys around for hours, see the video below. She particularly loves a squeaker (and removing them from the toy!)
Maybelle is a large puppy, already weighing around 15kg at 5 months old and can be boisterous. She is currently teething and learning that she can’t mouth people and is picking this up very quickly. With some direction she will quickly redirect her mouthing to a toy, chew or frozen kong to help sooth her gums. As Maybelle is going to be a large dog (estimated be grow to around 25-30kg when fully grown) we are looking for adopters who already have experience with large dogs and are prepared to be firm in their rules & help set appropriate boundaries for Maybelle as she is learning.
Maybelle is crate trained and happily snoozes away in her crate after a walk, play or training session. She also sleeps in her crate overnight without stirring. She is also house trained but we would expect that this will likely regress a little once she moves onto a new home, until she gets the hang of where to go & how to ask to go outside.
Maybelle is currently living in a foster home with two other dogs and, whilst they mostly live amicably and enjoy chasing around together when out on walks, Maybelle can become jealous & also annoy the resident dogs with her want for puppy play & big puppy paws hitting them in the face! Therefore, she would be best placed in a home as the only dog where she can revel in all the attention.
Maybelle is extremely loyal to her favourite people, very intelligent & loves a good training session to put her mind to good use! She is very food motivated and will happily learn new tricks for treats! She has already (mostly) learned to sit instead of jumping up for attention, she will lay down and has begun to associate her name with good treats and will come when called. She has also learned the ‘watch’ command that will be useful when up against all manner of scary situations.
Whilst Maybelle is very friendly with her foster carers, she can become reactive to strangers, strange dogs & noises and will need ample training to help her overcome these anxieties. Maybelle has a big bark for a small puppy, but she is a big softie deep down. She just needs to learn that strangers & their dogs are not to be feared. Maybelle has nicely greeted a few people & dogs whilst out and about for walks but she also becomes frustrated when she can’t say hello and reacts by barking at them. She will need training to ignore other distractions and focus on her adopter instead. For this reason, we will only be considering people that have experience with reactivity, handling large breed dogs & are prepared for the training Maybelle will require.
Maybelle can resource guard her favourite toys/high value treats but with some guidance and learning to drop & swap toys, she is becoming better with this. However, continued training will be needed in this area.
Maybelle has not been tested with cats or children and, due to her boisterous & playful nature, we will only be considering homes without both of these.
Maybelle is looking for someone who understands her needs & will give her time to build up her confidence & relinquish her anxieties of this big, bad world.
Maybelle originally came from Greece but is now living in West Kent/East Sussex area – visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note, the UK adoption fee will apply.

Her future's bright
Nina was rescued in Lebanon but is now living in the London area – visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note that Nina’s adoption fee will be £250.
Nina was hit by a car when she was just a small puppy and simply left at the side the road. It wasn’t until months later, when she was discovered by local animal shelters and taken to the vet, that they learned she’d been paralysed from the waist down; she would have been surviving by dragging her back legs behind her to move, and was covered in cuts and sores from the effort. Once she had been x-rayed and given a health check, her rescuers brought her to our partner shelter in Lebanon where she was able to recover in a safe, ethical and loving environment.
Nina’s luck changed forever when she was rescued, but it’s not been smooth sailing for her – after months of testing, and Nina’s paperwork being finalised for her big journey to the UK, civil unrest hit Beirut followed by the Covid outbreak earlier this year. Nina’s journey hasn’t been easy; rescue from Lebanon is complex, costing upwards of £1,500 as well as months of necessary vet checks and processes to follow. The unrest in Beirut has caused all kinds of logistical issues and delayed paperwork which, for Nina, has meant one heartbreaking setback after another. That’s why we made the decision to fly her over and have her pre-adoption tests and treatments completed from the safety and comfort of a boarding facility here in the UK. Seeing her happy little face arrive at Heathrow, we know we made the right choice and we’re so pleased to have honoured our commitment to her, all thanks to the WAHF community; it’s your generosity that has made this journey possible. Despite everything, Nina is finally here in the UK and we’re determined to find her the perfect home so that forever can be ready and waiting for her.
Through it all, this little warrior has remained as cheeky and as full of life as ever! She gets on well with other dogs, is trusting and loving around people of all ages, and has a heart of gold. Nina means both “little girl” and “mighty warrior”, and we can’t think of a more apt title!
Despite only having two fully working legs, Nina will mow you down in her wheelchair if you don’t move out of the way! She’s full of character, exuberance and mostly prefers to be rolling around getting into mischief and playing. The way to get Nina to relax or sit still is by stroking her – she’ll lay with you for hours on end if you tickle her tummy. She gets very attached to people, very quickly and could develop some separation anxiety if separation training isn’t started immediately after adoption.
Nina is a high energy dog and would love to go to a home with another high energy, friendly and playful dog. She could happily go out with dog walkers or to daycare as she loves other dogs and is very confident already! However, Nina will need to learn manners & how to play with other dogs properly as she can wind up dogs that aren’t quite as playful and full of life.
Nina is happy-go-lucky and will try anything you throw at her, she’s even tried her paw at swimming (you can see a video of this in the first post we shared about her on our Instagram!)
Due to Nina’s spinal fracture that was never properly corrected, she lost most of the function in her rear legs. Although she has got some feeling & movement, at the moment there is no expectation of recovery or controlled movement in her hind limbs. Her rear limbs no longer bend at the hock but she has some movement in her knees and hips making wheelchair use easy. Her injuries mean that she’ll need dedicated care to help her lead a happy, comfortable life. We have sourced her a more permanent wheelchair for when in movement and a drag bag for when the wheels come off & around the home. Both will ensure that she can go for walks, and run and play with other dogs without being hampered, but her adopter will need to be able to accommodate for her disability.
Nina has some bladder control, but is also prone to accidents due to her paralysis. Whilst in boarding, she is now almost fully potty trained but she does have some accidents in the evening still. New owners may consider the use of nappy’s for the evening time. Due to her bladder issues, extra care should be taken for the skin on her rear legs to prevent urine burns as well as scuffs. Our amazing team member Kasey has a great deal of experience with helping dogs with these types of disability settle into home life and will be on hand to support the transition and provide advice and tips.
Please note, Wild at Heart Foundation are committed to covering the cost of any treatment required for her long-term wellbeing as advised by our specialist vet team – however, based on early assessments, we understand that Nina is healthy and happy despite her disability and it’s unlikely that she’ll need extensive ongoing treatment or surgery.
This girl is a special soul, and as such will need an extra special home to give her the happy ending she deserves after her traumatic start to life. If you think you can give her the love and care she deserves, we’re looking forward to hearing from you!

Full of fun!
Dali was rescued at 5 weeks old along with his sister, Rosa. Their mother was neutered by our partner shelter and returned to her owners who said they no longer wanted the family. The were then taken in to the shelter, and now Dali has the chance to find a loving forever home, where he is very much wanted.
Dali is a very lively lad and always has plenty of energy! He loves to play and has a few favourite toys, particularly his beloved chew sticks. Dali is very happy when he is around people and is quite confident when meeting someone new – as long as they are willing to give him a big fuss and cuddle!
Alongside playtime, Dali also likes to burn off his energy by tumbling around with the other dogs and zooming around on the pack walks. He can sometimes get a little boisterous with the other dogs, so it will be important that his new adopters feel confident setting some clear boundaries when he gets over excited. He does also need some positive reassurance when meeting dogs he is not yet friends with. A little guidance from his adopters will help him overcome this, and we are sure he will relish a structured routine and enjoy bonding with his humans during regular one to one training sessions.
It’ll be important that Dali has lots of opportunities to burn off his energy through out the day, as such Dali would suit an active home, where he can take advantage of regular walks and plenty of exciting adventures – we are sure he will be keen to lead the way! There is no doubt Dali will light up his new home with plenty of joy and with time to adapt, he is bound to relish all of the comforts a loving home can offer.
Dali has not been tested with cats or children, we will be watching how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
On arrival at the shelter, Dali tested positive for Giardia which has since been treated and he is now cleared of the infection.
Please note, Dali won’t be travelling until at least the end of March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Dali as soon as possible!

Raring to go!
Rosa was rescued at 5 weeks old along with her brother, Dali. Their mother was neutered by our partner shelter and returned to her owners, who said they no longer wanted the family. The were then taken in to the shelter, and now Rosa has the chance to find a loving forever home, where she is very much wanted.
Rosa is a brilliant girl who is all about the fun! She has been handled from a young age so is fairly confident when meeting new people and as long as you have as much energy as Rosa, you are sure to be her new best friend! She is a feisty girl and is most happy when she has something to do, or somewhere to be. She will need adopters who are willing to dedicate time and feel confident working with Rosa during some one to one training sessions. As she is such an intelligent girl, working with Rosa is bound to be a fun bonding task and she will really benefit from the extra stimulation.
Rosa will definitely need adopters who are active and keen to have a four legged friend by their side on all of their adventures! She could happily play all day and loves nothing more than a long walk. It’ll be important that her adopters have as much get up and go as she does, and can also offer a structured routine with lots of positive activities to fill her day! With just the right amount of exercise to keep her busy, Rosa will be keen to snuggle down and enjoy a tummy rub or two to round off the day.
Rosa loves going on the pack walks at the shelter, as this is where she thrives and lets off all her steam. She is generally very confident around the other dogs but at first, she can be unsure and is sometimes a little reactive. She will need calm introductions and some positive guidance when meeting new dogs and adopters will need to incorporate this into her training. Once she feels comfortable, Rosa is very playful and sometimes gets told off by other dogs who aren’t keen on her rough and tumble! With this in mind, she is best suited as the only dog in her new home or somewhere with a tolerant resident dog.
Rosa has not been tested with children, we will be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
On arrival at the shelter, Rosa tested positive for Giardia which has since been treated and she is now cleared of the infection.

A cheeky chappy
Nemo was discovered wondering the streets in the local town nearby to our partner shelter. It was almost as if he was asking to be rescued when he bravely ran straight over to the volunteers, allowing them to put him on the lead and take him to the safety of the shelter.
Nemo is a confident boy who absolutely loves people and is always first in line to introduce himself! His friendly nature led him to being rescued and it was clear he was willing to trust from the beginning. Nemo may need time to re-adjust to a new environment but once he is feeling settled, we are sure he will have no trouble soaking up all of the attention and fuss that he so craves!
Nemo generally gets along well with the other dogs at the shelter, but he can be a little cheeky at times! He is sometimes a little grumpy towards the other males, and can show his jealousy with a little growl if he thinks the other dogs are getting more attention than him! He is not afraid to barge to the front of the cuddle queue and although this is never aggressive, he will need to learn a few more manners when socialising. It is best he is either the only dog in his new home or somewhere with an easy going female dog.
Nemo is already learning to walk well on the lead and is a natural quick learner. He will really benefit from some one to one training with his new adopters and with plenty of treats for good measure, we think he will revel in the attention of showing off all of his new party tricks!
Nemo will suit an active family who have just as much passion for fun & adventure as he does! We would love to find Nemo a home nearby to lots of exciting walks, where he can burn off his energy and bound along without a care in the world! We are sure Nemo is going to make a brilliant companion and we can’t wait to find him the perfect home, where he can continue spread his never ending joy!
Nemo has not been tested with cats or children so we will be considering homes on a case by case basis.

Special and sweet
Laika was found in August and was recently in a foster home before being taken in by our partner shelter. It is believed she had recently given birth to a litter of puppies and was then dumped by her previous owners. Laika is now one step closer to beginning her new life in a very special forever home.
Laika is a delightful girl who has slotted in well to shelter life and is a little pleasure to have around, often charming volunteers with her happy and loving nature. When she first arrived, she was very over excited and clearly had a lot of energy, likely because she wasn’t getting the regular exercise that she needs. But, since going on the shelter’s pack walks and playing with the other dogs, she has calmed down and is often found relaxing in-between playtime. As she enjoys making friends with other dogs so much, we will definitely be considering homes with resident friendly dogs.
To help Laika burn off her energy, she will need active adopters who are keen for a couple of long walks each day and happy to play with Laika and her beloved toys whilst at home! After plenty of excitement and exploring, Laika will happily curl up next to you on the sofa or scope out the perfect sunny spot for an afternoon snooze.
Laika has already been taught some basic doggy manners in her previous foster home and at the shelter, but prospective adopters will need to be aware that a change of environment could mean starting from scratch, and training should be continued once in her new home. Luckily, Laika loves her treats and is a very intelligent girl, so this should be a fun way to keep her tummy happy as well as keeping her busy!
Laike has not been tested with children so we will considering homes on a case by case basis. It is possible she could suit a home with older children who are sensible around dogs.
Laika is a very special girl, and we have no doubt that she will bring a whole lot of joy to a family that love life just as much as she does!
Please note, Laika will not be able to travel until at least the end of March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Laika as soon as possible!

Little fire cracker!
Amber and her siblings were found with their mum, Gemma in a remote area of Lesvos. Gemma had dug underneath a rock to keep her pups safe and it was here that they were discovered by a soldier, who notified our partner shelter to come to their rescue. The family have since been in foster care, where they have been learning, playing and growing more each day! Finally, Amber and her family are ready to fly the nest and find their forever homes in the UK.
Amber is a crafty girl, who knows what she wants and is always up to some sort of tricks! She is very clever and may need to learn a few boundaries once in her new home but as she is such a bright spark, we are sure she will enjoy bonding with her adopters during lots of stimulating games and learning those all important puppy manners. If she isn’t making people laugh with her crafty ways, Amber is cuddling up to her foster carer enjoying a big fuss!
Amber has a lot of energy and loves playing with her siblings as well as other dogs. She could be suited to a home with a resident dog, but wouldn’t mind a home all to herself either – just as long as her family are as full of beans as she is! Amber has been tested with children so could also suit a home with children who are calm and sensible around young dogs. After a long day of keeping busy and bounding around in the big outdoors, there is no place Amber would rather be other than cuddled up next to her very lucky family.
Amber has also been tested with cats, so we can consider homes with dog savvy resident cats on a case by case basis.
Please note, that due to on-going travel restrictions and transport logistics, we currently do not have a transport date in place for dogs travelling from Lesvos. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Amber as soon as possible!

Very good boy
Jasper and his siblings were found with their mum, Gemma in a remote area of Lesvos. Gemma had dug underneath a rock to keep her pups safe and it was here that they were discovered by a soldier, who notified our partner shelter to come to their rescue. The family have since been in foster care, where they have been learning, playing and growing more each day! Finally, Jasper and his family are ready to fly the nest and find their forever homes in the UK.
Jasper is a gentle natured pup and is enjoying learning about the world around him. Whilst his siblings are usually zooming around creating mischief, Jasper often takes himself away from the chaos and happily explores on his own. He is affectionate at heart and despite his independent side, he always has a beady eye open for a cuddle with his favourite humans!
Although he is a little more reserved around his siblings, Jasper gets along with other dogs just fine. He will need a family who are dedicated to some puppy training sessions and helping him learn all about his new home, but with lots of positive encouragement we think he will bravely take it all in his stride. He could suit a home with children, as long as they are calm and sensible around young dogs.
Jasper has also been tested with cats, so we can consider homes with dog savvy resident cats on a case by case basis.

Cute cuddle queen
Ruby and her siblings were found with their mum, Gemma in a remote area of Lesvos. Gemma had dug underneath a rock to keep her pups safe and it was here that they were discovered by a soldier, who notified our partner shelter to come to their rescue. The family have since been in foster care, where they have been learning, playing and growing more each day! Finally, Ruby and her family are ready to fly the nest and find their forever homes in the UK.
Ruby loves tumbling around with her siblings and although she has plenty of energy for running and jumping, she also has an eye for spotting a comfy lap for a break from the fun. Ruby takes the role of the calmest pup and she absolutely loves her cuddles. She is sure to enjoy a big fuss before charging up her energy for the next playtime! Ruby and her siblings were born with different size tails and although she does not have one at all, it does not cause her any issues and makes her all the more unique!
We think Ruby will relish bonding with her new family. She is a smart girl who is very motivated to please her humans and we are sure that she will enjoy gobbling up some yummy treats during those all important training sessions. She has also had positive socialisation with other dogs so could be suited to a home with or without a doggy sibling. Ruby has also had interaction with children, so we could consider families with children that are sensible around young dogs.
Ruby has also been tested with cats so we will be considering homes with dog savvy resident cats on a case by case basis.

Bundle of joy!
Cotton and his siblings were found in an abandoned house with their mother, not long after she had given birth. Thankfully the owner of our partner shelter in Romania took the family in to the warmth and helped nurture the very young pups. The siblings have been cared for at a foster home and are now eager to find their perfect forever homes in the UK.
Like most young pups, Cotton is gradually getting used to all of the new sights and sounds that the big wide world has in store! He absolutely loves play time and chewing on his favourite toys but nothing will ever come before his love of food! Cotton is always first on the scene wherever there is something to gobble up and would happily eat all day if he could – this shows as he is the largest of the litter! He was also born without a tail, but this certainly doesn’t affect him, he’s a very happy boy but just looks a little more unique!
Cotton will need plenty of training in his new home, to help him with his puppy manners and when building his confidence in his new surroundings. He is also not used to busy environments, as he is currently in a foster home in a very rural part of Romania. As such, we will only be considering homes in at least semi rural areas. We are sure that with adopters who can offer him plenty of positive encouragement and a heap of love, he will build in confidence more each day.
Cotton has had some socialisation with dogs and wasn’t fearful, but could be a little unsure/wary of dogs that are much bigger than him. His response was to bark at them! With this in mind, adopters will need to be prepared for training him to build his confidence towards strange dogs. We could consider homes with friendly and confident resident dogs, who can offer him a little guidance if he feels nervous, and we are sure he would make an excellent play mate to his new doggy sibling!
Cotton has not yet had any socialisation with cats, we will be watching how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis. Cotton could be suited to a family with older, dog savvy children.
Please note, Cotton won’t be able to travel until at least mid March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Cotton as soon as possible!

Say hello to Polly, who was found abandoned in a cardboard box when she was just 6 weeks old, along with her 5 siblings. Luckily our amazing partner shelter took them in and have been caring for them ever since. Now it’s time for her to travel to the UK and find a wonderful forever home.
Polly is a happy, friendly pup, who’s young personality is developing every day. Having been handled from a young age Polly is confident around people and loves a cuddle, although she is a little more reserved than her siblings and is happy to let them take all the attention. Being a little more nervous in nature, and coming from a rural environment, we will only be considering at least semi-rural homes for Polly.
Whilst Polly is calm in nature, she still loves to play and gets on with all other dogs she has met so far. She has already begun some basic training and has learnt to sit for treats, and will soon begin some lead training too. Polly is a quick learner and will really benefit from a family who can do lots of puppy training with her when she arrives, so she can keep up the good work!
Polly hasn’t had any socialisation with cats or children so we will be watching how her puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Polly won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least mid March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Polly as soon as possible!

Sammy is a calm, gentle young pup who’s personality is developing every day. He’s got lots of energy so would love an active home that can commit to plenty of walks, and fun training sessions with him every day. He’s already learning the basics but will need someone to keep him up to speed!
Sammy enjoys playing with his siblings and gets on with all other dogs he has met so far. He has been out on pack walks with older dogs, and fits right in. Sammy would be happy in a home with another dog, but he also wouldn’t mind having the attention to himself.

He’s already learning the basics but will need someone to keep him up to speed!
Snowy loves to play and gets on with all other dogs he has met so far. He has been out on pack walks with older dogs, and fits right in. Snowy has also been introduced to the small local town and is seemingly calm around traffic and unknown noises, so we will consider homes in sub-urban areas, providing his exercise needs are met.
Snowy hasn’t had any socialisation with cats or children so we will be watching how his puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Snowy won’t be travelling until at least mid-March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Snowy as soon as possible!

Confident Power Girl
Meet beautiful Roxy, who was found abandoned in a cardboard box when she was just 6 weeks old, along with her 5 siblings. Luckily our amazing partner shelter took them in and have been caring for them ever since. Roxy will be able to travel to the UK soon, and we can’t wait to find her a wonderful forever home.
Roxy is very loving, confident little pup, who’s personality is still developing every day. Having been handled from a young age Roxy loves to be around people and will seek out human attention, whilst also having an independent streak.
Roxy has got lots of energy to burn, and loves playing with her siblings as well as other dogs in the shelter. Due to her high energy levels, we are looking for an active home, in an at least semi-rural setting, where Roxy will have space to burn of some steam as well as a nice sunny spot for some sunbathing as this is one of her favourite past times. Roxy has already began her basic training in the shelter loves to learn, so she will need a family who have plenty of time to keep up with this training to keep her mentally engaged.
Roxy hasn’t had any socialisation with cats or children so we will be watching how her puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.

Little wriggle monster
Meet beautiful Pixie, who was found abandoned in a cardboard box when she was just 6 weeks old, along with her 5 siblings. Luckily our amazing partner shelter took them in and have been caring for them ever since. Pixie will be able to travel to the UK soon, and we can’t wait to find her a wonderful forever home.
Pixie is very sweet, bubbly little pup, who’s personality is still developing every day. Having been handled from a young age Pixie is confident around people and gets super excited when she gets attention, so much so it was hard to get a photo of her as she was wriggling around, desperate to say hello to everyone.
Pixie has got lots of energy to burn, and loves playing with her siblings as well as other dogs in the shelter. Ready to blossom!
Introducing the very special Maddie. Having been born on the streets, Maddie knew very little about what it meant to feel safe. She was rescued along with her siblings by our brilliant partner shelter and since then, all of her lucky brothers and sisters have been adopted to the UK. Maddie has been gradually building up her confidence in a foster home and is now ready to follow her siblings, in search of her forever home where she can continue to thrive.
After a very unsure start to her life, Maddie is gradually learning what it means to be loved and since being in her foster home, she is coming out of her shell more each day. She was very nervous at first but after building a relationship with her foster carers, Maddie loves nothing more than a big cuddle on the sofa! She will likely take her time to bond with her new owners, as she can be wary of new people at first and sometimes reacts when there are new visitors in her foster home. She soon settles with plenty of reassurance but with this in mind, we will be looking for adopters who are patient and have some experience working with sensitive & potentially reactive dogs.
Maddie has also benefitted from living with other dogs in her foster home, it has specifically helped with building her confidence and also brings out her playful side! We will definitely be considering homes who already have a confident and calm resident dog, as this will help Maddie to feel comfortable in her new home.
Maddie loves going out on her walks, but may take some time to settle in her new surroundings. Maddie can be sensitive to loud noises so to give her the best chance at adapting, we will specifically be looking for homes in rural environments, where she can enjoy a peaceful walk and gradually build her confidence to new areas. We are sure that with the help and guidance of calm adopters, she will start to feel relaxed and will learn to love exploring her new home!
Due to her timid nature, we will not be considering homes with young children but homes with older, calm & dog savvy children could be considered on a case by case basis.
Maddie is a wonderful girl and is very deserving of a safe place to call home. We have no doubt that with some consistent, positive training and a big heap of love, she will continue to blossom more each day and we can’t wait to see how she grows!
When taken into shelter care Maddie tested positive for Giardia, but has since been treated and cleared of the infection.
Please note, Maddie won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least mid March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Maddie as soon as possible!

Happy little lady
Olivia and her brother Sesame were found together in a very remote area and were initially frightened of being approached. The pair were eventually rescued and taken to safety, thankfully escaping the harsh realities that life on the streets can entail. Olivia and her brother are now living together in a foster home in Lesvos, where they are both patiently awaiting to start a new chapter and find their happily ever after in the UK.
Olivia is a laid back girl and is always impressing her foster family with her intelligence, charm and sweet nature. She adapts well to her surroundings and happily makes friends with lots of other dogs. Olivia and her brother Sesame have made a special bond with their best friend Steven! We are sure she would be happy in a home with a doggy sibling by her side, so we will definitely be considering homes with a resident dog.
Olivia is already walking well on her harness, although she tends to prefer a gentle stroll rather than a mighty adventure – after all she only has little legs! Like her brother, one thing Olivia absolutely adores is her treats! With lots of tasty snacks in hand and along with her natural eagerness to please, teaching Olivia some doggy manners is sure to be a fun bonding task. After a fun filled day of impressing her adopters by learning lots of new tricks, there is nowhere Olivia would rather be than snuggled up on the sofa next to her humans – a scratch and stroke along her back is the way to Olivia’s heart!
Olivia is getting used to making new friends and does get along fine with children, however she can be a little unsure of loud noises and raised voices. With this in mind, we will only be considering homes with older children that are dog savvy and can appreciate Olivia’s uncertainty in this scenario. We will also only be considering homes in non-urban environments, where she doesn’t have to worry about any triggering sounds. One thing that is for certain, is the amount of love this little lady is bound to bring into her very lucky new home!
Olivia has not been tested with cats so we will be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, that due to on-going travel restrictions and transport logistics, we currently do not have a transport date in place for dogs travelling from Lesvos. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Olive as soon as possible!

Happy go lucky!
Sesame and his sister, Olivia were found together in a very remote area and were initially frightened of being approached. The pair were eventually rescued and taken to safety, thankfully escaping the harsh realities that life on the streets can entail. Sesame and his sister are now living together in a foster home in Lesvos. They are both patiently awaiting to start a new chapter and find their forever home in the UK.
Sesame is a little delight to all who he meets and is a very playful pup! He has brought plenty of joy to his foster home and is often bouncing around with his foster mates including his sister and their best friend Steven. Not just a best pal to his four legged friends, Sesame is also very keen to please his foster carers for a big fuss and cuddle in return! As Sesame is brilliant at making friends with humans and dogs alike, he could be suited to a home with a resident dog, but we are sure he won’t mind all the sofa space to himself either!
Between Sesame and his sister Olivia, he is definitely the most energetic of the pair, and he would love adopters who are as full of beans as he is! He is no stranger to jumping in the car in search of the next adventure, where he can explore to his hearts content and discover lots of exciting smells! He also loves to run and has been enjoying bounding around in the snow! Sesame adores his treats, which will certainly come in handy during some training and when getting him used to his new home. As long as there is a snack in hand and tummy rub for good work, we think this smart chap will be brilliant at picking up a few fancy party tricks too!
Sesame can be a little unsure of loud voices and sudden noises so we would prefer to place him in a non-urban environment. Whilst he is good with children, we will only be considering families with older dog savvy children who can be considerate to his sensitivity in this area. We have no doubt this sweet little boy will be a wonderful companion to a very special home!
Sesame has not been tested with cats so we will be watching how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.

Shy and sweet
Willow is one sixth of a gorgeous litter of girls, who are now proudly known as the “flower pups,” after being named over on our Instagram account. The sisters were born near an apartment block and were looked after by their street mum, before being rescued by our partner shelter at just 6 weeks old. Since then, they have been anticipating the time when they would be ready to fly the nest and each find their happily ever after.
Willow is a very clever girl and is already learning lots of puppy manners in her foster home. She is gradually getting the hang of lead training and is also on the way to becoming house trained too. This will need to be continued in her new home, but luckily it is made easier by Willow’s love of food! She is not far behind where there is something to gobble up, so make sure you have plenty of tasty treats in hand and she’ll be very happy to take part in those all important training sessions.
Willow can take a while to feel comfortable when around new people or dogs and is sometimes a little vocal or runs away in these situations. Willow will need an owner who is patient and experienced in working with dogs who need slow introductions and positive encouragement. Once she has gained your trust (perhaps with the help of those high value treats,) she is very affectionate and loves to snuggle in close for a big cuddle. We would love to place Willow in a home with a friendly and confident resident dog who can help guide her in times of need. It will also be important that we find Willow a home in a non-urban area with adopters who are confident working with sensitive dogs.
Willow has a lot puppy energy to burn off and loves playing in the garden at her foster home. She will often be found digging around for fallen walnuts or playing with her favourite squeaky toys! She could be suited to a home with cats, as long as they are dog savvy. We are sure that once Willow feels settled she will bring plenty of joy and a lot of love into to her new home!
Willow has has not been tested with children but given her shy nature, we will only be considering families with older, dog savvy children.
When Willow was taken into the care of the shelter, she tested positive with Giardia but has since been treated and is now cleared of the infection.
Please note, Willow will not be available to travel until around March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Willow as soon as possible!

Snoozing sun worshiper
Meet gentle natured Mochi, who originally found as a street pup & was the runt of her litter. Her foster carers took her in & nursed her back to health & she’s been lucky enough to be staying with them ever since. Sadly they are moving & cannot take Mochi with them, so our partner shelter in Thailand have reached out to us to help Mochi begin her new life & we can’t wait to get her settled into a wonderful home.
Mochi is a loving, quiet girl. She enjoys nothing more than lounging in the sun or curling up in one of her favourite napping spots, snoozing the day away. She is quite an independent dog & is happy to be left to do her own thing. Although she is quiet in nature, she does love playing & when really happy becomes a silly, goofy dog, however this does need be on her own terms.
Mochi has spent most of her life in a home & has picked up a few party tricks already. She is very smart & loves to learn, especially when there’s some tasty treats involved. She knows how to sit, stay, law down, paw, hug, speak & will even eat on command. As well as this, Mochi walks very well on the lead, and looks forward to her walkies everyday, getting very excited when she sees the lead. It’s important to note that whilst she is clearly a very clever girly with a few tricks under her paws, the long journey over to the UK can set dogs back, so it’s best to assume you are starting from scratch when she arrives.
When you first this meet this gorgeous girl, she can be a little shy & unsure, and she just needs some time & reassurance. She tends to keep to herself at first but will come over to new people for a sniff when she feels ready. If she feels her space has been invaded she will take herself off to a safe area until she feels more confident. Once a bond has been formed Mochi loves a good back scratch and will rub herself on you to let you know she’s ready for her doggy massage. Due to Mochi’s more nervous nature around new people, we are looking for adopters who are willing to give Mochi the time she needs to build her confidence & understands she needs her own space when she’s feeling unsure. She is very sensitive to loud noises and for this reason we will only be considering adult only homes in at least a semi-rural setting.
Mochi has lived in a home with other dogs her whole life, and tends to get on well with older calm dogs, but does have more of an intolerance to younger dogs. However, normally if there have been any quarrels, Mochi tends to be the submissive one and would only ever retaliate in defence. Out on walks she is curious of other dogs but tends to be a lot more interested in sniffing her surroundings. If a dog approaches her at speed, she can become distressed & will try and back away & hide, but she is never the aggressor. She can guard food & treats when other dogs are around, however has never displayed this behaviour towards people. As a result we believe Mochi would be happy being the only dog in the home, however would consider homes with calm, older dogs.
Mochi has a mild skin allergy which causes her to become itchy, however, it is very easily controlled by sticking to a diet involving no food colourings and only natural ingredients. She is currently being fed on Purina Super coat dog food, with no recent issues.
Mochi is a sweet natured soul who wants nothing more than a sunny spot in a garden or a cosy spot by a fire where she can feel safe & secure. With a lot of love & understanding we are certain she’s is going to make a wonderful companion, and we can’t wait to find her the perfect home.
Please note, Mochi won’t be travelling until February. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Mochi as soon as possible!

Charming gentle giant
Sebastian was sadly dumped by a main road during summer. We don’t know much about his life before this but it is likely he was given up by a family who no longer wanted him. When he was found, he was incredibly underweight and very much in need of shelter, food and plenty of love. Thankfully Sebastian was found by our partner shelter who were able to offer him all that he needed to regain his health and offer him a safe place to await a forever home.
The very noble and loyal Sebastian has a heart made of gold. We are sure he will love nothing more than a family of his own who he can watch over and snuggle up to as the day draws to a close. Sebastian has a gentleman’s charm and peacefully plays along with the other dogs at the shelter. He is also good with children but prospective adopters may want to consider Sebastian’s size, as he is a larger dog who may need a little more space in his new home!
Sebastian would love his new family to be as explorative as he is! With plenty of energy to burn off, Sebastian can go for miles with his enthusiasm for new adventures. It would be ideal for Sebastian to be in rural environment where he is close by to plenty of those engaging walks which he adores so much!
Sebastian has not been tested with cats so we will be considering homes on a case by case basis.
With a lot of love in his heart and a big gentle soul at his core, we know Sebastian is going to relish having a family he can finally call his own.
Please note, Sebastian won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least the end of January. As a result, we will not be reviewing applications until the New Year, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Sebastian as soon as possible!

Brave gentle boy
Ronaldo was abandoned in a small village, likely given up by a previous owner. With his presence on the street seen as an inconvenience, Ronaldo was sadly the victim of an air rifle attack. Sadly, this is an all too common occurrence for lots of stray animals left fending for themselves and Ronaldo is very lucky to have escaped a worse fate. After this heartbreaking incident, Ronaldo was taken in to a foster home before arriving at our partner shelter – who were without a doubt on hand to give Ronaldo his second chance. He is now on the way to making a full recovery from his injury and safely awaiting his happily ever after.
Given his terrifying circumstances before arriving at our partner shelter, it is no wonder that Ronaldo was a little frightened to be rescued. With plenty of patience and understanding, the volunteers were able to get Ronaldo on side and within very little time at all, he has proudly turned into the shelters golden boy! Ronaldo is a dream to have around with his incredibly sweet nature and gentle personality. A big softie at heart, Ronaldo loves nothing more than lots of fuss from anyone that is lucky enough to be in his charming company.
There is one place Ronaldo can’t get enough of and that is none other than his very cosy bed. A self confessed lazy bones and with his love of his very precious bed, Ronaldo will be sure to seek out the home comforts to come in his very own home. Ronaldo is a smart boy and has already taken well to walking on lead. He also has quite the appetite for plenty of treats so with these in hand, training Ronaldo is bound to be a fun, bonding experience.
With his very gentle nature, Ronaldo is a brilliant kind friend to all of the other dogs at the shelter, be them old, young or just a tiny puppy – what a popular boy! We are sure he wouldn’t mind a resident dog for a playmate in his new home but likely so, he would have no complaints with the attention all to himself either.
Ronaldo is not yet tested with cats or children, we will be watching to see how his personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Ronaldo has had a very unfair start to his life and asks for nothing in return other than a safe and welcoming home to call his own. We think Ronaldo is going to make his new adopters feel very loved and we can’t wait to give him the ending he very much deserves.
Please note, Ronaldo won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least the end of January. As a result, we will not be reviewing applications until the New Year, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Ronaldo as soon as possible!

More belly rubs!
The lovely Ryan was sheltering under a trailer when he was found and thankfully taken in to our partner shelter. We do not know much about Ryan’s life before he came into shelter care, but we are so glad that this darling boy is finally one step closer to finding his very own special home.
Ryan is an incredibly gentle and calm boy. He is very good with people and is always asking for lots more tummy rubs and cuddles! He loves his walks and is sure to enjoy plenty of adventures with his humans by his side. Ryan can find shelter life a little overwhelming at times, so we would love to find him a home where he can kick back, relax and settle into the pleasures of family life.
Ryan can be a little nervous when around some of the other dogs, particularly when there is lots of activity and barking going on! He generally gets on well with dogs and he doesn’t show any signs of aggression in this scenario, but we think Ryan would prefer to be the only dog in his new home or potentially somewhere with a resident dog that is calm and guiding to help Ryan on his way to building more confidence. Although perhaps a little wary of cats, he is not showing too much interest. However he doesn’t have regular exposure to them. Homes with a resident confident cat could be considered, so long as the cat has experience living with a dog previously & adopters are prepared for the integration period.
Ryan is certainly ready for a quiet life, where he can relish the joys of snuggling up in a cosy warm spot at the end of the day. We will be looking to place Ryan in at least a semi-rural home, where he won’t have to worry about any triggering urban noises. He would love to bond with adopters that are patient and understanding of his current timid nature. With this in mind, we will not be considering homes with young children.
When Ryan was discovered he had some superficial wounds on his paws, which are still visible on him, but Ryan is fighting fit ready to bound into a very loving home. We have no doubt that given the love and support he needs, Ryan will continue to blossom everyday.
Please note, Ryan will be available to travel in February. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Ryan as soon as possible!

Amazing blue eyes!
At the end of the hill nearby to our partner shelter, Vivian was found wondering the roads and dodging traffic. Thankfully she was taken out of harms way and is now in brilliant hands, safely awaiting a very special place to call home.
Vivian is very hard to miss with her beautiful blue eyes and for the joy that she spreads around the shelter. She always has a smile on her face and a wag in her tail, (unless of course it is raining, then Vivian would much rather be sheltered away!) She has a very calm and gentle nature and is proving to be a very affectionate girl.
As well as cuddling up to shelter volunteers for plenty of tummy rubs, another of Vivian’s favourite things is her treats! We are sure she would benefit from some training sessions where she can bond with her new adopters and of course, happily gobble up plenty of yummy snacks along the way!
Vivian is also a very playful girl and she can often be found tumbling around with her shelter playmate Alice. We think she would be very happy to join a home with a resident dog or with adopters who have as much energy as she does! We have no doubt this bright little spark will light up her new home in no time at all!
Vivian has not yet been tested with cats and to our knowledge, has not had any socialisation with children. With this in mind, we will consider homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Vivian can’t travel until at least February. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Vivian as soon as possible!

Bouncy like Tigger!
Applications for Gracie are now closed due to unprecedented interest. If you have already sent in an application form, an adoption coordinator will reach out to suitable adopters in due course. Please allow up to 7 days for a response from our adoption team as we work through all applications and enquiries.
Here we have the very wonderful Gracie, who was brought to the shelter by the municipality pound. Now spending her days safely at our partner shelter means that Gracie is a very lucky girl, as she is now one step closer to finding her forever home in the UK!
Gracie is a very special girl who is full of joy and energy. Gracie has a very friendly soul and loves nothing more than bouncing around the shelter in search of her next play mate! She is more than happy to spend all day in the company of the other dogs at the shelter but will also be just as content where there are plenty of tummy rubs to be had from shelter volunteers. A little cheeky and full of love, we think Gracie is going to adore having humans of her own who she can play with all day and cuddle up to at night.
As she is such a bright spark, it will be hard to resist teaching Gracie a fancy trick or two! She is already learning how to walk on a lead and is showing real confidence when responding to commands. We think with extra delicious treats in hand and plenty of affection for reward, Gracie is going to be an excellent learner once in her new home.
It is likely Gracie was poorly looked after before she came to our partner shelter so her coat has suffered from matting. Despite looking sunny in Gracie’s photos, Greece suffer from some very harsh winters and for this reason Gracie cannot be clipped as it’s far too cold. Gracie will really benefit from the luxury of regular grooming in her new home and will soon be on the way to looking picture perfect with some adopters who are ready to show her some TLC.
Gracie is showing enthusiasm for most things and people that she meets. However, to our knowledge Gracie hasn’t had socialisation with children so we’ll be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis. She has been introduced to cats and at the moment, is not showing too much interest. With slow and gradual introductions homes with confident and dog-savvy cats could be considered.

Time to explore
Meet sweet Lady, who was rescued from one of our partner shelters spay and neuter clinics, along with her siblings after their mother needed an emergency cesarean. They were all taken into the shelter who have been caring for them ever since. They are now old enough to spread their wings and take their freedom flight here to the UK.
Lady is a happy go lucky dog who takes shelter life in her stride. She is super inquisitive, and loves to explore new places, & meet new dogs! She makes friends with dogs very easily and enjoys some rough and tumble play with her siblings and other smaller dogs in the shelter. As such, we think Lady would love a doggy sibling to share her home with, so we will definitely be considering homes with other dogs.
Whilst Lady has bundles of energy, she loves a good cuddle and long snooze after the excitement of playing and exploring. She is friends with everyone she’s met at the shelter and has mixed well with children, so we will consider homes with sensible, calm children.
Similar to her siblings Lady loves her food, which will come in handy when training her. Whilst she’s had some basic training at the shelter, prospective adopters will need to continue with this once she arrives in the UK, ensuring she is taught some good doggy manners.
Our partner shelter in Thailand is situated in a very remote area, surrounded by lush green forest, so the dogs are very used to having plenty of space to roam. As such we are only considering at least semi-rural homes for Cookie.
Lady is full of character, and desperate to get involved in whatever she can. She is going to make a wonderful companion and we can’t wait to find her a forever home.
Please note, Lady will be available travel at the end February. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Lady as soon as possible!

Meet lovely Cookie, who was rescued from one of our partner shelters spay and neuter clinics, along with her siblings, after their mother needed an emergency cesarean. They were all taken into the shelter who have been caring for them ever since. They are now old enough to spread their wings and take their freedom flight here to the UK.
Cookie is a sweet natured girl who likes to take life easy. Whilst she does enjoy playing with her siblings in small doses, more often than not you can find her snoozing her days away in a quiet, shaded spot. She’s a cuddly girl, who we are sure will be desperate to get snuggled up after a nice walk. She’s been introduced to children at the shelter and mixed well, so we will consider homes with sensible, calm children.
Cookie loves her food, so much that she can be a little protective of it around her siblings, so we are therefore looking for a home without another dog to avoid any confrontation here. She has never shown any guarding around humans before and is more than happy to take treats from your hand – this will come in handy when training her up!
Whilst Cookie enjoys a cuddle, she is very sensitive around the base of her spine, where she had a painful in-grown hair which had to be surgically removed. It’s all healed up but she would rather stick to belly rubs than bottom scratches for now!
Our partner shelter in Thailand is situated in a very remote area, surrounded by lush green forest, so the dogs are very used to having plenty of space to roam. As such we are only considering at least semi-rural homes for Cookie.
Cookie is looking for a calm home, with a spot on the sofa where she can snooze her days away. We are certain she is going to make a wonderful companion and we can’t wait to welcome her into the UK.

Handsome cheeky chap
Meet handsome Woody, who was rescued from one of our partner shelters spay and neuter clinics, along with his siblings, after their mother needed an emergency cesarean. They were all taken into the shelter who have been caring for them ever since. They are now old enough to spread their wings and take their freedom flight here to the UK.
Woody is tonnes of fun & has a cheeky side. He’s the biggest of the litter and he certainly knows it, with a tendency to play a little more rough than the others. He can get carried away but will listen when told to stop. With larger male dogs his play turns a little too boisterous at times, so we a looking for adopters who are prepared to do some further training with him and teach him some better doggy manners! Whilst Woody loves to play with other dogs, we think he would be best suited as the only dog in the home, but with lots of playmates he can socialise with outside.
Around people, Woody is a gentle giant at heart and has even been socialised with children and mixes well. Due to his bouncy nature, we will be considering homes with older dog savvy children. Woody is very foody, which is a great tool when teaching him some new tricks! He has begun to walk on a lead but he’s not the biggest fan, so careful training will be needed once he has settled into his new home. We are sure with lots of positive reinforcement he’ll soon get the hang of it and know that the lead means walkies!
Our partner shelter in Thailand is situated in a very remote area, surrounded by lush green forest, so the dogs are very used to having plenty of space to roam. As such we are only considering at least semi-rural homes for Woody.
We are looking for a home that is prepared to do lots of training when Woody arrives to set some boundaries for this bouncy boy. We are certain that with some time and patience he will settle into home life & make a wonderful companion.
Please note, Woody will be available travel at the end February. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Woody as soon as possible!

Amber eyed beauty!
Pleased to meet you is the very lovely Hazel! She was brought to our partner shelter by the municipality pound and has now thankfully escaped the harsh realities of life on the streets. We are looking forward to finding Hazel a home that is just as special as she is!
We don’t know much about Hazel’s life before she was brought into shelter care, but she is confidently taking shelter life in her stride and it is clear to see how much she enjoys the company of the volunteers. Keen to please for as much affection as possible, Hazel will often roll over and proudly present her tummy for all the rubs it can get! Hazel would love a home where there are plenty of adventures to be had close by and after a long day of exploring, nothing will beat a cosy cuddle with her humans.
Hazel is more than just an amber eyed beauty, she is already responding to commands and walking well on the lead. She is a very smart girl and considering how much she loves a tasty treat or two, we have no doubt she will be brilliant at picking up a few more tricks along the way.
Hazel has no problem fitting in with the other dogs at the shelter and loves playing with her four legged friends! Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for her friendship with the resident cats! With this in mind, we won’t be considering homes with cats, although those with resident dogs could be considered.
To our knowledge, Hazel hasn’t had any socialisation with children so we’ll be watching how her personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Hazel can’t travel until at least February. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Hazel as soon as possible!

Keen for adventure!
Sky and her sister Moon had been kept by a previous owner in her back yard. Having decided she no longer wanted the siblings, Sky and Moon found themselves in the caring and safe hands of our partner shelter. Here, they are now awaiting a new life where they can soon relish the comforts of a truly loving home.
Sky is a very sweet and gentle girl. She loves nothing more than a scratch under her chin and a cosy place to curl up after a long day of exploring. We think Sky is going to savour all of the pleasures that a home can give and if she is lucky, she certainly wouldn’t mind her very own spot on the sofa! Sky is a friendly soul to all that she meets and also gets along well with other dogs.
We would love to give Sky a home in at least a semi rural area. Somewhere that is close to plenty of engaging walks would be ideal as due to her breed, she loves her adventures and sniffing around! She will need extensive training on her recall, as it is likely that she may have a strong prey drive. With this in mind, homes with cats will not be suited to Sky.
When Sky arrived at our partner shelter, she had an injury to her eye which had gone untreated and neglected for a long time. The shelter quickly arranged X-rays and although the cause was unknown, to save further discomfort her eye was removed. Sky is now feeling a lot better and has had no further problems – taking it all in her stride, what a little hero!
Sky has not been tested with children so we will be watching how she develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
After a very unsure beginning to her life, Sky would love nothing more than a safe place to call home. We can’t wait to find Sky her forever home – that is full of all the love she didn’t know existed.

Special little soul
Meet the lovely Barney who was found abandoned, along with his siblings by the side of the road near our partner shelter. The puppies were tiny and had very little chance of being discovered at all, let alone knowing how to fend for themselves at such a young age. It truly is a miracle that our partner shelter discovered the litter when they did. Thankfully, Barney is now in safe hands and he is finally ready to fly the nest to his new furever home!
Barney is a very special little soul who loves to be around people. He has a gentle personality and loves a big cosy cuddle from the shelter volunteers that he has come to know. He is also loves playing with the other dogs at the shelter and enjoys going on pack walks where he can burn off all his puppy energy! Barney would happily spend all day playing with his toys and romping around with his siblings. A happy chap at heart, we think Barney is going to be a very special addition to his new home.
Barney is a little more reserved than some of his siblings, so he will need plenty of encouragement from his adopters when he is in his new home. We are looking to place him in a home with a resident dog and somewhere that is a little quieter, to help him continue to shine! An excellent tool for bonding with Barney and for those important puppy training sessions, will be his adoration for all things tasty – anyone with a delicious snack in hand is sure to be his new best friend!
Barney gets along fine with cats but has not yet been tested with children, we will be watching how his puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Barney won’t be ready to travel to the UK until towards the end of January. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Barney as soon as possible!

Small but mighty
Introducing Poly, one of our dog meat survivors, who was found in a filthy cage with a number of other dogs, puppies & even chickens. Our incredible partner shelter in South Korea rescued both him and his sister Roly & now it’s their turn to finally have a chance at a happy life.
Poly may be small but he is certainly mighty & likes to rule the roost. He doesn’t let his size get in the way & has tonnes of charisma & energy. He has bursts of excitement followed by a long nap to recover from all the energy released! He’d love a big garden where he can play some tug of war & run around in as fast as he wants as he likes to go at full speed.
Similar to his sister Poly is a very clever little pup & has learnt lots of tricks since being in a foster home. He already knows sit, stay, lay down, paw & high five! Poly has also been walked on a lead but is a puller so he’ll need some training in this area. It’s important to note that the long journey over to the UK can set dogs back, so it’s best to assume you are starting from scratch when he arrives.
Poly has been introduced to lots of other dogs & he is always very interested & wanting to play. He likes to show off & even tried to outrun a collie! When out walking he will pull towards dogs & bark with excitement, so he’s going to need to be taught some manners here. He can also be a bully to his sister so we will not be looking to keep them together. On occasions where another dogs has shown aggression towards him he will bark in response whilst also showing some submissive behaviours. As such, we would consider a home with a calm older dog, who might be able to teach Poly the ropes.
Poly is unsure of unknown sounds and will bark when he hears noises outside his foster home. He uses his bark to get attention, so again he will need to be taught some manners here! He really dislikes having a bath, as well as having his ears cleaned so he will need lots of desensitisation to this process as well as positive reinforcement to show him it’s not so bad after all. Along with this Poly hates to be picked up & held under his armpits, but will be held around his belly. Due to his sound sensitivity we are only considering at least a semi-rural home for Poly.
Poly has had an issue with itchy skin but his allergy tests results came back negative. Since being on a special diet with no beef included he has not had any issues so this will need to be continued.
We are looking for someone who can provide Poly with patience & understanding to help him overcome his fears. He had an unimaginable start to life but has been given a second chance & we cannot wait to find him a home where he can thrive.
Please note, Poly won’t be travelling until at least the end of January. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Poly as soon as possible! Please also note that the adoption fee for all South Korean dogs is £950.

Happy little man
Fraser who was found abandoned, along with his five siblings by the side of the road near our partner shelter. The puppies were tiny and had very little chance of being discovered at all, let alone knowing how to fend for themselves at such a young age. It truly is a miracle that our partner shelter discovered the litter when they did. Thankfully, Fraser is now in safe hands and he is finally ready to fly the nest to his new furever home!
Fraser is a very friendly soul! He has become an expert at clambering onto the shelter volunteers laps for lots of cuddles, snuggles and tummy rubs! Keen to show his affection for all that he meets, Fraser loves being around humans and with his big fluffy ears, he is very hard to resist! A gentle boy at heart and very keen to please, we are sure Fraser is going to make himself very at home amongst his new family.
A regular day in the life for Fraser includes playing with his siblings, tumbling around with his toys and scoping out the next adventure! Fraser will need some puppy training in his new home but with lots of tasty rewards, we think he is going to be a bright little spark! He is also brilliant with the other dogs and enjoys the company of both puppies and the older dogs at the shelter. He could well be suited to a home with a resident dog but we are also sure he would love plenty of attention to himself! Fraser would love nothing more than a family to call his own and we can’t wait to make all of his dreams come true.

Introducing the lovely little Robin! Along with his sister, Robin was sadly found in a rubbish bin. The siblings were thankfully found by a passer by who took them to our partner shelter. We are looking forward to finding the very deserving Robin a special loving home.
Robin is a happy go lucky puppy with lots of puppy energy to go around! He is taking life at the shelter in his stride and proving to be an eager explorer with a curious mind. Often the first on the scene where there is fun to be had, Robin is usually found bounding around his pen with his sibling, Rosie, and even with his little legs, he still packs a mighty punch!
A little charmer at heart, Robin loves to make friends with as many people as possible. He is keen to play along with the other dogs at the shelter and could suit a home with a resident dog, though we are sure he would have no problem soaking up the cuddles all to himself either! Proving to be both enthusiastic and clever, Robin will love bonding with his new adopters over plenty of puppy training sessions and you will certainly have him on side with at least a few tasty treats on offer!

Another of Rosie’s all time favourite things is soaking up all of the attention she can find! Applications for Holly are now closed due to unprecedented interest. If you have already sent in an application form, an adoption coordinator will reach out to anyone suitable in due course. Please allow up to 7 days for a response from our adoption team as we work through all applications and enquiries.
Holly was born into a litter of 12 puppies who are now honourably known as “The 12 pups of Christmas!” The siblings were abandoned without their mother on the streets of Bulgaria and were left to fend for themselves. Holly and her brothers and sisters have all been very lucky to find themselves at our partner shelter, as it now means they can each find their very own forever home!
Holly is a very young pup, so her personality is still developing every day. Holly is a little calmer than her siblings and has a very sweet nature. But don’t let this deceive you, Holly still has plenty of puppy energy to burn off! She loves to play and is always in search of a cuddle or two from the shelter volunteers. Holly is enjoying learning about her new surroundings and taking in the big wide world day by day!
Holly has been making lots of new friends at the shelter and gets along well with all of the other dogs and puppies. Holly would love a home with a very special family that can offer her plenty of playtime, affection and of course, a little bit of puppy training too! We are sure Holly is going to make a wonderful companion and deck the halls of her new home with a tonne of love and lots of fun!
Holly hasn’t had any socialisation with cats or children so we will be watching how her puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Holly won’t be ready to travel to the UK until at least the end of January. As a result, you may not hear from us until the New Year, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Holly as soon as possible!

Sweet as sugar!
Here we have the lovely Boo who was found abandoned, along with her five siblings by the side of the road near our partner shelter. The puppies were tiny and had very little chance of being discovered at all, let alone knowing how to fend for themselves at such a young age. It truly is a miracle that our partner shelter discovered the litter when they did. Thankfully, Boo is now in safe hands and she is finally ready to fly the nest to her new furever home!
Boo is a very curious girl and loves to sniff around for lots of exciting smells! Even though shelter life is all very new to Boo, she is inquisitive and taking it all in her stride. Boo can be a little nervous when she is picked up but with lots of gentle encouragement from the shelter volunteers, she is coming round to enjoying lots of cosy cuddles!
With her big bundle of puppy energy and Boo’s love of toys, we think she is going to love an active home where she can spend the day romping around before rounding it all off with a big snooze – if only to charge herself up for round two! She will be in need of some puppy training and with treats in hand, we are sure she will be happy to oblige.
Boo happily plays with the other puppies and older dogs at the shelter so she could suit a home with another resident dog. A play mate will be sure to keep her content! Boo is a gentle girl and with a welcoming home to call her own, she is bound to make her adopters as happy as can be.
Boo has not yet been tested with children or cats, we will be watching how her puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Boo won’t be ready to travel to the UK until towards the end of January 2021. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Boo as soon as possible!

Calm cuddly clever
Meet sweet little Otus who was found abandoned, along with his five siblings by the side of the road near our partner shelter. The puppies were tiny and had very little chance of being found at all, let alone knowing how to fend for themselves at such a young age. It truly is a miracle that our partner shelter discovered the litter when they did. Thankfully Otus is now in safe hands and he is finally ready to fly the nest to his new furever home!
Otus is a calm and cuddly puppy. He spends his days at the shelter getting to know the other dogs, all of who he enjoys playing with. He also regularly charms volunteers with his big friendly eyes! Otus is a natural sweetheart and we believe he is bound to make a very special house a home – in return for plenty of affection!
Otus has already begun to understand some puppy manners and has quickly learnt to sit for treats – what a clever pup! With plenty of tasty snacks to hand, Otus will definitely be happy to oblige in some more puppy training or learning some new fancy tricks! We think Otus will be happy in a home with a resident dog or content soaking up all of the attention to himself, either way this friendly boy is sure to be everyone’s new best friend!
Otus has not yet been tested with cats or children, we will be watching how his puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.

Longing for love
Daisie was living with her sister Kiwi in a small remote village but our partner shelter got news that she was in danger, and so quickly rescued her. She was neutered by the shelter and has been living there since she was roughly 1 year old.
Daisie is loving, friendly and fairly confident within her pen and with those she knows. She is submissive towards her sister, with whom she shares a pen, as well as other dogs, so could be rehomed with another confident dog that would help lead the way and bring out her confidence.
Daisie is also happy and loving with people once she knows you, however, she can be a little timid/shy with men. This is something adopters will need to work on, providing her with gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement. Once she has been given the time to settle we think she will soon learn to love everyone around her.
She walks well on the lead and doesn’t pull, however she is slightly unsure of surroundings when leaving her pen, only ever going on short walks not too far away. It is likely walking will take some time for Daisie to adapt to once over in the UK. Her adopters will need to let her feel comfortable and happy in her surroundings over time, and eventually build up to exploring further afield.
We believe that she would flourish in confidence once in a quiet home with a routine in place. She would like to go to a rural home, with a patient & understanding owner to help her build up confidence and blossom into the sweet happy soul she is.
Please note, Daisie can’t travel until November/December. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Daisie as soon as possible!

Meet the special Hawk who was found abandoned, along with his five siblings by the side of the road near our partner shelter. The puppies were tiny and had very little chance of being discovered at all, let alone knowing how to fend for themselves at such a young age. It truly is a miracle that our partner shelter discovered the litter when they did. Thankfully, Hawk is now in safe hands and he is finally ready to fly the nest to his new furever home!
Hawk loves nothing more than all things warm and cuddly! He is often found very close to the volunteers subtly asking to be picked up – Hawk has an eye for spotting empty arms that would be ideal for snuggling into! Like most puppies, Hawk is enjoying learning about his surroundings and taking in life at the shelter. He loves playing with everyone he meets, four legged friends and humans alike!
There is one thing Hawk is not so fond of and that is sharing his beloved food! It will be a priority for adopters to work through this when puppy training Hawk. This love of food will be an excellent tool when positively reminding Hawk about sharing and teaching him some new tricks! It would be best for Hawk to be in a home without young children and for him to be the only dog, so he can have all the fuss to himself! With plenty of positive guidance and lots of love along the way, we are sure Hawk is going to make an excellent addition to his special new home.
Hawk has not yet been tested with cats, we will be watching how his puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Hawk won’t be ready to travel to the UK until towards the end of January 2021. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Hawk as soon as possible!

Lively and learning
Introducing little Wallace who was found abandoned, along with his five siblings by the side of the road near our partner shelter. The puppies were tiny and had very little chance of being discovered at all, let alone knowing how to fend for themselves at such a young age. It truly is a miracle that our partner shelter discovered the litter when they did. Thankfully Wallace is now in safe hands and he is finally ready to fly the nest to his new furever home!
Wallace is a bundle of bountiful energy! He is often found charging around the shelter and playing with his siblings. Wallace loves nothing more than an exciting walk, so we think he would love adopters who are also keen explorers! Whilst Wallace is enthusiastic about many things, sometimes he can be nervous of being picked up and handled. The shelter are working on this and it’s improving with lots of positive encouragement and plenty of treats for good measure!
Generally, Wallace loves playing with the other puppies and the older dogs at the shelter but he has started to protect food from the other dogs. Adopters will need to be prepared to work on this as part of Wallace’s training and it is best that he is the only dog in his new home. With plenty of reassurance and lots of love on offer, we think Wallace is going to make a fantastic companion to some very lucky adopters!
Wallace has not yet been tested with children or cats, we will be watching how his puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Wallace won’t be ready to travel to the UK until towards the end of January 2021. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Wallace as soon as possible!

Quiet calm soul
Introducing special Rufus who was found abandoned, along with his five siblings by the side of the road near our partner shelter. The puppies were tiny and had very little chance of being discovered at all, let alone knowing how to fend for themselves at such a young age. It truly is a miracle that our partner shelter discovered the litter when they did. Thankfully, Rufus is now in safe hands and he is finally ready to fly the nest to his new furever home!
Rufus is a very sweet soul and is the most calm out of his siblings. He is just beginning to find his place in the big wide world. Rufus can be nervous and is a quite unsure when being handled or being picked up, so it may take some calm encouragement to entice Rufus in for a cuddle but once he is safe in your arms he will start to relax.
Rufus does have a playful side but wherever Rufus is and whatever he is doing, there is always somewhere else on his mind – his very cosy bed! If ever there is too much excitement amongst the other dogs at the shelter for Rufus, he will likely be found here, chilling out in his own space.
As Rufus enjoys the calmer side of life, we think he would be best suited to a quiet, rural home without any young children. He would also benefit from living with another, relaxed resident dog that can help show him the way. We think, that with lots of positive reinforcement and some very tasty treats to help him learn about the world around him, Rufus will continue to shine in his own very special way.
Rufus has not yet been tested with cats. We will be watching how his puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Rufus won’t be ready to travel to the UK until towards the end of January 2021. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Rufus as soon as possible!

Having already made his long journey to the UK, Sydney is relishing in home comforts with a foster family in the Sussex area and visits for serious adopters can be arranged. Please note that the adoption fee for Sydney will be £850.
The journey to the UK for a rescue dog certainly represents a positive change to their life and Sydney is a shining example of a dog that has taken every step in his stride. Sydney is a big ball of fun loving energy and he has bounded into his foster home with confidence and a real eagerness to please his carers.
Settling into a new routine and a domestic setting can be a big ask for a rescue dog who has known nothing of the kind before, but Sydney has taken up the challenge of street dog to sofa snoozer without any complaints! His favourite way to spend the day is to find a very cosy spot to nap for as long as possible, before heading off on a walk with his humans – he is even happy to get in the car for an extra special adventure! Sydney is taking routine in his stride and is having no issues sleeping through the night as well as being house trained.
From day one, Sydney has shown instant affection to his foster family and will do anything to make sure that they are cuddling him at every given opportunity! He is generally very laid back during the day and only expects that if you are sat down, he is right there next to you! With so much love on offer and as he is such a family man at heart, Sydney could struggle to be left alone for long periods of time. It would be best if he was adopted into a family who have a flexible routine and can be mindful of Sydney’s sensitivity in this area.
With so much to love about the world, Sydney has plenty of enthusiasm for most things in life! He is a big dog and regardless of his age, has a puppy like energy. When something really excites Sydney, he can get a little carried away and he has been known to destroy a few of his toys in his eagerness! Despite this, he doesn’t show any other kind of destructive behaviours in the home and will happily play without resource guarding his beloved toys – his very favourite is a puzzle feeder, working for extra snacks keeps his mind busy and tummy very happy! Sydney is bound to be a wonderful family member but considering his size and energy, it is best he is placed in a home with older children.
Sydney is already picking up basic commands in his foster home. He knows how to sit and is at the start of his recall journey. This will need to be continued thoroughly in his new home, as Sydney does have a strong prey drive and with his adoration for food, he does like to sniff out anything he can find! Sydney will also need to work on some lead manners, as in his eagerness to get to the next exciting adventure, he can be a strong puller! But, he is already showing signs of overcoming this and considering he loves to please his humans, his training is already going very well.
Sydney is a very trusting soul and is welcoming to all who he meets, four legged friends and humans alike! He could be adopted to a home with a resident dog but we think he will also be just fine as an only dog and part of a family that have as much love to give as he does.

Your best mate
Fletcher flew from Bahrain to the UK in June, and is currently living in London. Visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note, the UK adoption fee will apply.
Fletcher and his siblings were found with their mother in a very dangerous, industrial area of Bahrain. His luck changed when he found a home here in the UK, but he’s still waiting to find a forever home.
The last few months in the UK have allowed Fletcher the chance to get used to family life – and he’s loved every minute of it! He’s a sweet and affectionate boy who loves playing and cuddling with his human family. He gets on well with people and, although he can be shy of strangers, with time and lots of treats he’s ready to be friends with anyone. Whether you’re cleaning, gardening, or just chilling out on the sofa, Fletcher will happily tag along to keep you company, especially if the day ends with a snuggle.
He’s a smart chap who’s very quick to learn. Being food motivated, he thoroughly enjoys training and will work hard for cheese, chicken and liver paste! He has a playful personality and whilst he’s still learning how games like fetch and tug work, he’s loves a good chew on his kong or antler.
Fletcher loves being out and about, and has learned to be brave around traffic and loud noises. However, Fletcher can become fear reactive towards unknown dogs which means he can find walks in places with lots of other dogs stressful. He is having ongoing training for this which would need to be continued.
Fletcher currently lives with another dog who he gets on well with (though his enthusiastic puppy playing isn’t always well received by the older resident pooch!) As with many “lockdown puppies”, Fletcher can also can struggle being left alone during the day. He has had lots of training for this and can be left for some time now, but would be better with a family who do not work all day as due to his reactivity he cannot go to a doggy daycare/dog walker currently. For this reason, we will also only be considering homes with resident dogs.
Fletcher is a real sweet-heart who is ready to melt your heart with his gorgeous green eyes. With a little more training and a family who can be at home more often to provide the consistency in the home he craves, we know he’ll make someone very happy indeed.

Inna was rescued from the streets as a puppy and has known life in a home for the last few years. Her elderly owners recently passed away and so now she is back to living without the one thing she treasures most: human company. She is ready to embark on her new journey to the UK, where her next stop can be her forever haven.
Having spent time living in a home already, Inna is used to all the little pleasures that it can bring. She is a professional at napping on the sofa (and the bed!) and finds this is the best place for lots of cuddles – which she will be sure to beg you for more and more of! She adores being around people and can sometimes be a little vocal if left at first, so a family who are mostly orientated at home would make her extra happy. Please bear in mind that Inna may suffer from separation anxiety and any adopters will need to be dedicated to helping her overcome this. Another of Inna’s favourite luxuries is snacking on a delicious apple, she will certainly be content with both a cuddle and an apple a day!
Although Inna has lived in a home previously, she will likely be unsure of strangers and take some time to build up trust with her new adopters. She will also need to get used to a whole new way of life, so understanding & patient adopters will be key!
As Inna loves to run and is a little unsure of traffic, we will only be considering homes in a rural environment – somewhere a little quieter and with lots of room for her to bound around on peaceful walks! She is a playful girl and will gleefully jump for joy when she sees you! She would be suited to an active home and could potentially be rehomed with older, dog savvy children who don’t mind Inna’s energetic side.
Homes with other dogs or cats could also be considered, as she tends to get on well with them having lived with both previously.

I love exploring!
Moon and her sister Sky had been kept by a previous owner in her back yard. Having decided she no longer wanted the siblings, Moon and Sky have now found themselves in the caring and safe hands of our partner shelter. Here, they are now awaiting a new life where they can soon relish the comforts of a truly loving home.
The wonderful Moon is a very sweet natured girl. Gentle with everyone she meets, Moon is keen to make friends with other four legged friends and she often asks for cuddles from the volunteers with her puppy dog eyes! Moon is still adjusting to shelter life and becoming to understand that she is now safe. After her unsure start, we think Moon would really appreciate a warm and cosy home where she can finally relax in the comfiest spots that she can find!
Moon loves sniffing and exploring everything around her! With this in mind, we will be looking for at least a semi rural home that has plenty of engaging walks nearby. Somewhere with access to the country side or maybe even a beach if she is lucky! Bearing in mind Moon’s breed, it is likely that she could have a strong prey drive. Potential adopters will need to work extensively on recall and homes with cats will not be considered.
Moon has not been tested with children so we will be watching how she develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Finally, one step closer to having a place she can call her forever home and with lots of love to give, we know that Moon will adore the company of her very own family.

Little Miss Sunshine
Doori is one of five dogs we’re rescuing from South Korea, who have all escaped meat farms earlier this year. Like Dawn, Doori is now with a wonderful foster family in South Korea until she travels to the UK in early 2021.
Despite the cruelty she’s witnessed at the hands of humans, Doori is still incredibly affectionate and loving. In fact, once she’s gotten to know you, she’ll even paw you for attention!
To date, Doori’s never met another dog she didn’t like! Having spent so much time around other dogs, it’s likely she’ll struggle to be alone now, which is why we’re looking for a home with another confident, friendly dog for companionship.
Due to her time on the meat farm, Doori has some nervousness of new people and new places, and has a tendency to hide or even escape. She really needs an adopter who will give her space and allow her curious nature to come through at it’s own pace.
Doori is also sensitive to loud noises, so she’s looking for a quiet, rural home.
In her current foster home, Doori prefers to play indoors rather than venture out into the garden. However, her foster family have been taking her on walks and to parks, getting her used to the outdoors and meeting new people. Doori walks well on a lead, but will need prolonged, positive-reinforcement based training to help her overcome her fears of open spaces.
With time and patience, and a fellow canine to lead the way, we have every confidence that Doori will make a rewarding, loving addition to your home.
Please note that Doori will not be travelling until early 2021. Please also note that the adoption fee for all South Korean dogs is £950.
Doori is just 1 of several dogs we’re rescuing from the South Korean dog meat trade. We’ll be sharing more updates in the coming weeks, which will be communicated through our South Korea project page and via socials.

Little smartie pants
Introducing Roly, one of our dog meat survivors, who was found in a filthy cage with a number of other dogs, puppies & even chickens. Our incredible partner shelter in South Korea rescued both her and her brother Poly & now it’s their turn to finally have a chance at a happy life.
Roly is a sweet, smart & sassy girl with a big personality for a small dog. She has bundles of energy & loves to run & play off lead & also enjoys hiking with her foster carer. The enjoyment she gets from chasing around & running through piles of leaves outside whilst off lead is truly wonderful, so we’d love to find her a home with a secure garden where she can continue to do this. After a big play outside she loves nothing more than a cuddle & a snooze to recharge her batteries.
Similar to her brother Roly is a very clever little pup & has learnt lots of tricks since being a foster home. She already knows sit, stay, lay down, & play dead! Roly has also been walked on a lead but is a puller so she’ll need some training in this area. It’s important to note that the long journey over to the UK can set dogs back, so it’s best to assume you are starting from scratch when he arrives.
Roly has been introduced to lots of other dogs & likes to play with those that are similar or smaller in size. It does take her time become comfortable & she is generally quite submissive especially with larger dogs or those who approach her too fast; she will bark initially & then hide. Once comfortable she loves to play & for this reason we would consider homes with a calm, older dog who can help Roly with her confidence.
Roly really enjoys the company of her humans which has lead to her having separation anxiety. She howls & cries when left alone, so we are looking for adopters who can help her manage this & have time to spend building her up to being left alone. We do believe having another dog around will also help her with this.
Roly is a timid pup and hates loud noises or fast movements. She gets nervous when going outside in unknown places and it takes time to build her confidence. For this reason we will only be considering quiet, rural homes with adopters who will give her the time she needs to blossom. She hates water, & avoids puddles & will not walk in the rain, so adopters need to be prepared for this!
Roly has had an issue with itchy skin but her allergy tests results came back negative. Since being on a special diet she has not had any issues so this will need to be continued.
We are looking for someone who can provide Roly with patience & understanding to help her overcome her fears. She had an unimaginable start to life but has been given a second chance & we cannot wait to find her a home where she can thrive.
Please note, Roly won’t be travelling until at least the end of January. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Roly as soon as possible! Please also note that the adoption fee for all South Korean dogs is £950.

More cuddles please!
When Alice was found living on the streets with her brother Woody, they were likely struggling to find food, shelter and safety. The municipality pound workers found the siblings and brought them into the safe hands of our partner shelter. Now, the lucky pair are each awaiting a special place to call home.
The angel eyed Alice has a world of love to give and is often found spreading joy with her big, beaming smile! With her very gentle personality, Alice is naturally laid back and we think she would love nothing more than a warm, cosy spot to relax to her hearts content! Keen to cuddle close for plenty of affection, Alice is most happy when she has a warm lap to snuggle into.
Alice would also love lots of engaging walks to release her energetic side! She definitely has a playful spark and with treats on hand, we think Alice will be fab at picking up some new tricks! Alice is a friendly soul and gets along well with both cats and other dogs, so we could consider homes with either.
Alice has not been tested with children so we will be watching how she develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
With adopters who have as much love to give as Alice does, we are sure she is going to make a very special house a home.

Happy friendly curious
Prince was brought along to our partner shelter with two other dogs by the municipality pound workers. Having found himself in brilliant hands, Prince is a very lucky pup ending up at the shelter, as he is now one step closer to finding his forever home!
Prince is a very friendly young man, who is often found wagging his happy tail and bouncing around the shelter. Eagerly exploring his new surroundings is Prince’s favourite past time, he is curious and taking shelter life in his stride. Prince also loves to have human contact and with such an angelic face, he is very hard to resist! Even with his little legs, Prince still packs a punch with lots of energy to play the day away!
As Prince continues to grow and learn more each day, he will really benefit from some puppy training in his new home. With lots of yummy rewards on hand, learning some new tricks will be an excellent way to bond and help Prince settle with his new family. Prince gets along well with his doggy friends at the shelter so could suit a home with another friendly dog, but wherever there is lots of love and cuddles on offer we are sure Prince will be very content.
As he is still young, there is little Prince does not yet like! He has not been tested with children or cats so we will be watching how his puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
Prince is bound to bring a heap of love and a tonne of adventure into his new home. We can’t wait to find this very deserving lad his very special new beginning!

Learning to explore
Loretta was brought to our partner shelter as a newly born puppy along with her mum and siblings Kenny, Maybelle and Emmylou. The family luckily escaped the harsh realities of life on the streets and are now playing, learning and growing in the care of our wonderful partner shelter. Loretta is ready and waiting for her forever home in the UK.
Loretta is a fantastic, happy soul who is taking the big wide world all in her stride! Having only recently graduated to a pen without their mum, Loretta and her siblings are keen to explore their new, exciting surroundings! Loretta can be found with her nose in the ground, scoping out all of the new smells and bravely requesting lots of cuddles from the shelter volunteers. Building in confidence everyday, we think Loretta is a very brave girl indeed!
Most days are very exciting for young pups like Loretta and she is mostly content when playing with her siblings or tracking down some tasty snacks! Plenty of treats in hand will be an excellent tool in those puppy training sessions and when helping Loretta settle into her new home. Already keen to meet the other dogs at the shelter, we think Loretta would suit a home with a resident dog to help lead the way!
Loretta has not been tested with cats or children so we will be watching how her puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
We are certain that Loretta is willing to share all the puppy love that she has to give and we can’t wait to find this lovely girl her very own happy ending!

Curious little girl
Emmylou was brought into our partner shelter as a newly born puppy. Luckily escaping the fate of life on the streets, Emmylou was rescued along with her mum and siblings Kenny, Maybelle and Loretta. Since their arrival, the family have been getting used to shelter life and eagerly awaiting their time to fly the nest in search of their forever homes.
Emmylou is a sweet girl who charms everyone with her polite and gentle nature! Having just graduated to a new pen without her mum, Emmylou and her siblings are having fun bounding around and exploring as much as they can! Everything is still very new to the puppies but their curiosity and confidence is growing everyday.
Emmylou is often found clambering up on to the volunteers laps for plenty of cuddles and tumbling around playing with her siblings. Like all puppies, Emmylou will need some training in her new home but with plenty of yummy treats and lots of positive rewards, we are sure she will be a keen student!
Having been handled from a young age and spending time with the other dogs at the shelter, Emmylou is fairly confident with the shelter workers. She could suit a home with another dog to show her the ropes but lots of attention to herself would also be just fine!
She has not been tested with cats or children, so we will be watching how her puppy personality develops and considering homes on a case by case basis.
This charming little girl is finally ready for a home where she can let off all of her puppy energy and snooze away the afternoons. We can’t wait to find Emmylou her happily ever after!

Clever cuddly curious
Kenny was rescued as a newly born puppy along with his Mum and siblings Maybelle, Loretta, and Emmylou. Thankfully, our partner shelter were on hand to take the family in together. Here they have been growing, playing and learning whilst awaiting their forever homes in the UK.
Kenny has taken to exploring life in the shelter very well. Along with his siblings, Kenny has just recently graduated to a pen without his mum and whilst the outside world is very big and new, he is taking it all in his stride! Although there are lots of new things to explore, Kenny is often found asking for lots of cuddles and generously offers plenty of kisses to the volunteers!
Like most young pups, Kenny is a big fan of playing with his siblings and the other dogs at the shelter, sniffing around, and gobbling up lots of yummy snacks. As his confidence grows and with treats on hand, we can see Kenny blossoming into a keen student in lots of those puppy training sessions! Kenny has been handled from a young age and loves greeting people, whilst he is still coming out of his shell, he is proving to be a gentle and an affectionate boy.
Kenny has not been tested with children or cats, we will be watching how his puppy personality develops and assessing homes on a case by case basis.
We are sure Kenny is going to make his new home a very special place and we are looking forward to finding him a family that are just as full of love as he is.

Ready to learn
Frank was adopted from Bahrain earlier this year, but sadly, his owners have arrived at the decision that Frank needs a different home in order to thrive.
Frank is a really affectionate boy when he feels calm and settled, and loves nothing more than cuddling up and having a big old belly scratch. He loves to play tug-of-war and will eagerly fetch a ball when thrown.
Frank loves to chase but has excellent recall, and is much calmer off the lead which is why we are looking for a rural home for him. As well as his recall, Frank will sit, lie down and give his paw whenever asked; especially if there’s some tasty treats involved; what a clever pup! We believe Frank would make a great agility dog; an excellent way to keep him mentally stimulated.
Frank does unfortunately have a few areas where he struggles, so we are therefore looking for more experienced owners that can help Frank work through this. Strangers and noises scare Frank, leading him to become reactive towards them by barking or snarling. Initially he was barking at any foreign looking object as well as chasing cars but he has slowly shown improvements, becoming calmer in these situations.
Frank is fearful of dogs he does not know, and will bark and snarl at them when out walking on the lead. He has, however, made friends with another dog whilst at doggy training, and we think Frank may really benefit from another calm dog in the home to help with his anxieties and show him the ropes.
He has also shown some resource guarding behaviour, particularly towards men, who he is more fearful of. Most of Franks behavioural quirks are down to him being fearful and anxious. We believe with some time and patience, his confidence will build and he will be able to overcome these fears.
As Frank doesn’t cope well with strange noises or unknown situations, he would be best suited to an experienced home in a rural environment where his owner could work on these anxieties slowly, allowing him to blossom into the beautiful boy he is.
Frank originally came from Bahrain but is now living in the UK – visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note, the UK adoption fee will apply.

Worlds best cuddles
Woody was brought to our partner shelter along with his sister, Alice. Together, the pair were found living on the streets and were picked up by the municipality pound workers. Woody has now thankfully escaped the harsh realities that life on the streets can entail and he is now looking forward to a finding his very special forever home in the UK.
If ever there was a dog that could make cuddling into a profession – Woody would certainly make the expert! We are sure Woody would love a home where he can relax the day away and snuggle into any open laps that can offer a tummy tickle or two! As much as Woody knows how to chill, we are sure he would also love plenty of adventurous walks and would be keen to learn some new tricks. With treats in hand and a scratch behind those fluffy ears for good work, Woody is very eager to please!
Woody gets along well with other dogs, so he could be suited to a home with resident dog but we are sure he wouldn’t mind the sofa space all to himself either! In line with his gentle nature, Woody also gets along fine with cats and tends to ignore them. We are hoping to find Woody a home where he can release his playful side and round off his busy day with a well earned snooze!
Woody has not been tested with children so we will watch how his personality develops and consider homes on a case by case basis.
