Harley in three words | Wants to play
Please note that Harley will not be ready for adoption / ready to travel until September so any adoption applications will not be prioritised just yet.
Harley was found by a passer by, abandoned with his mother in the forest in Bulgaria.
Harley is a friendly little chap who is so playful and proving very clever. He is going through a boisterous, puppy nipping stage at the moment, so would be best with older children or an adult home as he is still learning not to nip people. However, he is bright and will stop when redirected to chewing or playing with a toy instead. He can also already walk well on the lead and has learned to sit for treats.
Harley is a busy and energetic pup. He enjoys playing with his mum and the other dogs and would make a wonderful second dog, as he simply loves playing so much! He also loves his walks and would benefit from an active home with ample walking opportunities.
Harley was initially scared of the other shelter dogs when he was first rescued but he has since learned that these dogs are ok and mixes well with them. He is likely to feel apprehensive about new / strange dogs but soon warms to them once he trusts them. He particularly enjoys playing with his mum, Rosie, and Dumbo, another puppy from a different litter. Rosie has been a superb mother to Harley and they are extremely attached to each other – in fact, they’d love to be rehomed together because they share such a special bond!
Harley is good with cats but is intrigued by them. He can be playful though, so would need to live in a home where the cat and owners are confident and the cat already dog savvy.
