Fletcher flew from Bahrain to the UK in June, and is currently living in London. Visits can be arranged for serious adopters. Please note, the UK adoption fee will apply.

Fletcher and his siblings were found with their mother in a very dangerous, industrial area of Bahrain. His luck changed when he found a home here in the UK, but he’s still waiting to find a forever home.

The last few months in the UK have allowed Fletcher the chance to get used to family life – and he’s loved every minute of it! He’s a sweet and affectionate boy who loves playing and cuddling with his human family. He gets on well with people and, although he can be shy of strangers, with time and lots of treats he’s ready to be friends with anyone. Whether you’re cleaning, gardening, or just chilling out on the sofa, Fletcher will happily tag along to keep you company, especially if the day ends with a snuggle.

He’s a smart chap who’s very quick to learn. Being food motivated, he thoroughly enjoys training and will work hard for cheese, chicken and liver paste! He has a playful personality and whilst he’s still learning how games like fetch and tug work, he’s loves a good chew on his kong or antler.

Fletcher loves being out and about, and has learned to be brave around traffic and loud noises. However, Fletcher can become fear reactive towards unknown dogs which means he can find walks in places with lots of other dogs stressful. He is having ongoing training for this which would need to be continued.

Fletcher currently lives with another dog who he gets on well with (though his enthusiastic puppy playing isn’t always well received by the older resident pooch!) As with many “lockdown puppies”, Fletcher can also can struggle being left alone during the day. He has had lots of training for this and can be left for some time now, but would be better with a family who do not work all day as due to his reactivity he cannot go to a doggy daycare/dog walker currently. For this reason, we will also only be considering homes with resident dogs.

Fletcher is a real sweet-heart who is ready to melt your heart with his gorgeous green eyes. With a little more training and a family who can be at home more often to provide the consistency in the home he craves, we know he’ll make someone very happy indeed.
