Very loyal boy
Dobri was found in the local town by our partner shelter’s volunteers, where he was wondering around and approaching people to say hello! It is likely he was given up by a previous owner, as he looked healthy and wasn’t frightened when the volunteers rescued him and took him to the shelter. Now the time has finally come for Dobri to embark on his journey to the UK and we can’t wait to find this loyal boy the forever home that he has been dreaming of.
Dobri is a very happy and friendly chap! He adores people and doesn’t show any nerves when he is meeting someone new, in fact the more friends the better for Dobri! He is bound to adore having a family of his own, as he is incredibly loyal and will relish having lots of attention all to himself. Dobri will make a wonderful companion to a very lucky family and we are sure that he will light up his new home with his loving nature and charming ways.
Whilst Dobri makes friends very easily, he can sometimes be a little grumpy around other male dogs, specifically those who have not been neutered. Prospective adopters will need to be aware of this when out on walks and as such, we think he would be happiest as the only dog in his new home. However, we think this could be worked on with experienced and calm owners, as he does enjoy going out on the pack walks with the other dogs at the shelter and is soon to release his very playful side!
After a nice long walk, there is nowhere Dobri would rather be than snoozing in front of the fire at the shelter! We are sure that once he gets used to his new home, he will have no trouble scoping out the best cosy spots for an afternoon nap. Dobri is a brilliant boy and would love nothing more than a family by his side who are ready to spoil him rotten!
To our knowledge, Dobri has not had any socialisation with children or cats. With this in mind, we will be considering homes on a case by case basis.
Please note, Dobri won’t be travelling until at least the end of March. As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Dobri as soon as possible!
