Daisie in three words | Longing for love
Daisie was living in a small remote village near the shelter but our partner shelter got news of this, along with the news that she was in danger, and quickly rescued her. She has been living at the shelter since she was around 1 year old.
Daisie is loving, friendly and fairly confident within her pen. She is with another dog and is very submissive towards her pen mate and other dogs. She could be rehomed with another confident dog that would help lead the way and bring out her confidence.
Daisie is also quite confident with people once she knows you, she can be a little timid/shy with men but nothing extreme and nothing that couldn’t be worked through.
She walks well on the lead and doesn’t pull, but this could be because she is slightly unsure of surroundings when leaving her pen. Daisie goes for short walks around the shelter but isn’t used to regularly leaving her pen, so walking would take some time for Daisie to adapt to.
We believe that she would flourish in confidence once in a quiet home with a routine in place. She would like to go to a rural home, with a patient & understanding owner to help her build up confidence.
