Say hello to our sweet Cinnamon, who was fortunately brought to our partner shelter in Greece after being found as a stray. We have very little information on her life before arriving here, but it is evident from her shy but gentle nature it wasn’t an easy start for her. She’s one lucky girl finding herself in the shelter as it now means we can find her a loving, forever home.

Cinnamon has only been newly rescued, and as such is still quite a shy young girl. She adores other dogs; being friendly towards all those she has met in the shelter. After being paired up with a pen buddy, she has slowly started to show her true colours of a happy, confident pup. We are therefore only considering homes with another dog that can guide Cinnamon into a life of adventure and happiness.

Cinnamon is growing in confidence as each day goes by. She goes out on lead walks with volunteers, however she does need some gentle encouragement whilst she gets used to new sounds and smells. Her love for food is a useful tool for positive reinforcement when she’s feeling a little unsure and will be perfect when teaching her some fun new tricks. Cinnamon also responds well when spoken to in calm, soft voice, reassuring her she is safe. For these reasons we are looking for a quiet, rural home. A home with calm, older, dog savvy children where Cinnamon can take her time settling in could also be considered.

Cinnamon has been around cats at the shelter and at present has shown no interest in them, however it is likely this could change once she becomes more settled. We are therefore not considering homes with cats as it is likely she could develop a prey drive towards them.

We believe given some time and patience Cinnamon will be a wonderful companion. She loves cuddles with the shelter volunteers and we are sure she would love nothing more than to curl up by a nice warm fire with her new family after a day of adventure.

This gorgeous girl is so ready to be shown a life where she feels safe and loved, and we cannot wait to help her find a new family to call her own.

Please note, Cinnamon can’t travel until at least December.  As a result, it may take us longer to reply to applications, as we need to prioritise those arriving sooner – thank you for your patience, and rest assured we’ll be in touch to discuss your interest in Cinnamon as soon as possible!
